My USA citizen countrymen/women. The USA is a melting pot of many colors and nationalities. I hope all of us would defend each other against outside forces or entities. We should not allow other people to divide us by bringing up issues in the past that they use to stir up past ills. The past is and should remain there, in the past. Issues of today are issues of today. We all had our good and bad pasts, they are over with. Today we should look at each other as AMERICAN compatriots.

Thats A Great Question
Especially When Asked In The USA
While The Nation Is At War
Therein Lies The Division
The said constitution shall never be construed
to authorize Congress
to prevent the people of the United States
who are peaceable citizens
from keeping their own arms.
--Samuel Adams
All might be free
if they valued freedom,
and defended it as they should.
--Samuel Adams
"If ye love wealth better than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude
better than the animating contest of freedom,
go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or your arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you,
and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
--Samuel Adams
Now Is The Time
For All Good Men To Come To The Aid Of Their Country
(Typewriter Excercise)
The day I turn in my own countrymen,
My Brothers At Arms,
will be the day I put a bullet in my own head.
No Matter How Thin You Slice It
(Race, Color, Religion) ...
... The CITIZENS Of The USA
Will Outnumber ALL OTHER FACTIONS
Hope I've Answered Your Question

I don't understand the question. Support in what? Which countrymen? All of them? Even the murderers and thieves and those whose political views I despise?
Who are the people of my race? I live in Europe, and recent DNA evidence suggests we're all mixed up together and have been for thousands of years.
With all due respect (this is just my opinion), I think that one of the biggest problems we face in the world today is that we categorise ourselves by the places we live, the places we were born, our religion or our "race".
I fully understand someone loving their country for its values or achievements, but that's an entirely different thing. Someone above said they have loyalty to their family. That I undestand, too, but again, it's a different thing.

Countrymen.... If everyone just supported their "race" there would be no country, at least not as it is today. The divide and conqueror seems to be the plan behind the PC movement

My country. Because too many people are of various races. If you have a multi-racial background, who do you support? You choose sides?
That is why country is the only answer. You can have dual citizenship, but you are not forced to choose which country to ally yourself with.

Depends on who is right.
I wouldn't blindly follow any faction, especially based in such ambigious circumstances. This question would have more meaning if it gave a senario. Reason being is that ultimatums given so blindly, such as this question, only serve as an excercise in ego for those answering it.
So yeah, best I can give ya is that it would depend on the circumstances. Many stupid things have done in the name of one's idea of race, and many stupid things have been done in the name of nationalism. Hitler just so happened to cover both areas :p

I love my country, and my country has many races. I dont care about race, I have many friends with various ethnic/religious backgrounds. At the same time my own race has many scumbags in them too just as many other races have scum in them.
I would rather fight for my country and my fellow citizens and my flag than to fight for bigots, traitors and cowards who's only similarity with me is the color of skin.

I've never been to Ireland and neither have my parents or grandparents, so I can't say I really support the Irish. I support HUMAN BEINGS in their attempt to create a better life for themselves and their children.
