I was born in London England in the 50's. I moved away in the 90's to the south of England as there is more space down there. I am not sad or lonely just very annoyed that we are the only country taking is asylum seekers. I am not racist as when in the 70's in London more races where coming here. In fact my husbands father was polish, but he did fight fot this country in world war 11. I have seen the uprising of the National Front in London and have seen many riots etc between the white and black people which was very disturbing and that is why I moved south for my daughters. But letting in 500 people a day on this very small island which it is is ludicous. As one person said they should be let into the first safe country they come to. But know they got to travel over europe and get a boat, lorry, car, or anything else to hide in and come here. Why? Because we are too soft. I want my children and grandchildren to have the opportunity to work but there will be no jobs soon.

My daughter works in the hotel business and she wants to move on and is finding it hard to get another job, ok she is in a good job but the living conditions are not very good. But she should have the choice like me.

I am also a Christina and have had enough of turning the other cheek. When I lived in London I was looked down by other races and even felt uncomfortable there. In Barking where I lived they took a picture of the town in the 80's and they took one last year and when shown to people they thought it was another country due to the change in culture there.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I think your basic question is anybody else as frustrated about the way the Immigration problem is changing the landscape of what has been home, If you read the majority of answers to the Educated questions in this forum, I say a resounding yes. Understanding the way England's history would suggest that that is the way America is heading. If I have this correct you are 100% right. It is Time to get a thicker skin on immigration!

You read the SUN, no wonder sales are half a million down. Wasn't that the paper who was pro war in Iraq and muslim bashing, and everything else. That's what happens when you only have one point of view. The government are blaming muslims for everything going wrong while increasing your taxes. What do you suggest internment camps, gas chambers, that's been done before.

Ok the sun is not going to do you any good. Yes there are insane numbers of migrants, but a lot of english emmigrate as well. I live with a bunch of polish, I know for a fact companies will pay their rent deposit (which they can't afford) to let them in as care assistants or hotel workers - jobs the lazy asses here won't do!

In a way you cause your own problem years ago. You went to A lot of countries in Africa & asia & They became dependent on you. They just felt that if you took care of them in their country then why not in yours. Our problem is different. Most of our immagrants are Illegal. Most are from nations we have never been to (exceot as tourist).AS for riots , that is not new. Even when everyone is the same race you have idiots who just like to fight. I have seen some of your soccer games. The crowd gets a little hostile. We take our Football serious but not that serious.

Honey, your country was sold out by the Liberals years ago.
Your country is done. It will end up a Third World Nation in 20 years.
Our country is facing the same thing. Liberals want to destroy it.
This may be the beginning of the end for the Free World.

What was the question? I didnt read it. This makes no sense to me at all.

And the sentance "Answer to some of the people from my last question?" shouldnt end in a question mark, that is equally non-sensicle.

Unless your government does something, theres nothing you can do, speak out and get people to talk to your government. Don't keep your mouth shut about anything that is effecting you. LOL

They are human beings the same as your daughters and your grandchildren, and they are doing their best to find a better life. They are not interfering with you in any way so stop reading your Daily Mail and open your mind.
