I was recently served with an eviction notice due to faliure to pay my water bill but when i first moved in and signed the lease i was told that water was paid and that is why i moved in one less bill, so now all of a sudden they are gonna throw me out for not paying something i never even got billed for. They gave me 3 days to move out is that legal i thought thay were supposed to give you a month? Where do they want me my hubby and 4 kids to go in 3 days? My ? is should they give me more than 3 days and i'm not paying for something that was never billed and i was not supposed to in the first place. My lease still has another month on it so if we do leave that will go on my creit and i will still get charged for it can i take them to corurt for that?

Unfortunately, I don't know which hospital I was born in. Both parents are deceased. My father was in the army.

Should parentspay for their children's education, and be able to choose schools? More like a business model? Perhaps if money was on the line, parents would be more involved in their children's education, and teachers would be competing for jobs, instead of being tenured? Also, it would release a tax burden on those who don't have children. What do you think?

Does anyone else worry about why people choose to join the marines? In my graduating class there are a handfull of people who are going to be joining the marines, of them, at least half I'd say enlisted because they just want to kill. That kinda scares me to know that these people want to kill. To join the marines to defend the nation is one thing, but to join because you think it's going to be fun?

everyone is welcome to share thier opinions but please don't call me unpatriotic or label me anything. I am not against our military or country.

Or are homeless?

Or have trouble finding work because the local market is deluged with cheap East European labour?

You're all very comfortably off aren't you?

I am angry when I see Israeli settlers from Hebron destroy improvements made to Shuhada Street with my tax money. Also, it angers me that my government is giving over $10 billion to a country that is more prosperous than most of the other countries in the world and uses much of its money for strengthening its military and the oppression of the Palestinian people.

We are supposed to have a transparent govt....but it is possible and with good reason to seal documents re: national security.....but is there a safeguard or something in place to assure this power is not abused?

They can(and have) claimed SO much like that...is there a process they must go thru in order to do this...or do they just say....it's NS and it's sealed and that's it?

Personally, I don't believe he should have lost this assignment the first time he held it.

I believe Lott is the sort of plain-speaking republican we need right now.

Save your pedantic slander, you guiless libs.

Pelosi is already making a mockery of the House electoral process by backing Murtha.

How many readers here think Hilary Clinton will run for president in 2008?

How many think voters will actually elect her?

I say "yes" to both, and it would indeed be a scary time for our country.

Even though there's evidence that gun bans DO NOT work in countries like Great Britain & Australia, there's many politicians who'd like to do just that - people like Pelosi, Schumer, Kennedy, and a host of others.

Just interesting to hear why people will often defend the Muslim extremist's views but denounce the BNP.

After all the BNP haven't bombed anyone yet.

NB - I'm not a supporter of either!!!
