I hope not.
I prank call for fun and I know lots of people who do it too.
What's so illegal about a harmless prank?

For starters it is childish. if a person has a problem with prank calls they just have to report it to their local phone co. who can immediatly trace the call. they will immedialtly alert the person where the calls are coming from and warn them of the consequences. if it continues they take action. amny people use cell phones today and if u know who it is then the police can obtain a list of their calls placed. depending on the number of calls and what was said the prank caller can be in seriou trouble.

Bo because it can be proven to be more than a wrong number. However,if the calls repeat themselves than it becomes harrassment. Yes,thats against the law. Save proof if this is happening.

It is a very imature past time.If I were your parent I would ground you from the phone until you appreciated that it is not a toy.Maybe as your parent to teach you that the phone is not a game Iwould "forget to give you messages,or tell your friends that you didn't want to speak to them ." Some people might think that was pretty funny too. What do you think?I think it is called "a taste of your own medicine"

i think it depends on where you live. when you prank call make sure you push star 67 before you dail the number. doing that will stop your number from showing up on a caller id

Actually it is. And depending on the prank the penalties can be quite severe.

Depends on the nature of the call. If it is a bomb threat or threatens someones safety then yes.
