You are kidding right?
Illegal = against the law
Against the law = criminal.
They broke the law crossing the border illegally. Whether for a good reason or not, it is still criminal conduct...

Being an illegal immigrant is a civil offense, largely a misdemeanor. First offense, anyway. At issue is the fact that people commit crimes in the USA, get deported, go home, come back, commit more crimes, get deported again, so forth and so on.
Building the US/Mexico border fence will stop a lot of that. Eventually, they'll have to build one up by Canada, too...

Every country in the world has laws about protecting its borders. Those laws are made to protect the sovereignty of that nation.Canada, and Mexico both have strong immigration laws.If any one circumvents those laws by entering into any of theses country's ,with out permission and legal documents then they are considered illegal.
Its very simple and very necessary. You do have a right to a better life but not at the cost of the better life of another legal citizen. We are a nation of laws you must obey them or suffer the consequences of your actions.,by being arrested and deported. The country you live in is responsible for its own citizens "better life" not the USA.

There is a change among unlawful immigrants as your self who come to the states with a purpose to uncover a task, paintings, and furnish for his or her loved ones. To me, folks who do that are flawlessly excellent to be right here. They are running for a dwelling, abiding via the foundations, and seeking to reap their citizenship. On the opposite hand, there are unlawful immigrants who do the unique reverse. I don't approve of folks who come to this nation to begin disorders, input gangs or equipped crime, do not paintings, do not pay taxes, take abilities or our wellbeing procedure, and but I am technically deciding to buy them to be right here. This I don't approve of. I can fully grasp your frustration, however it's extra the form of immigrant we've in our nation that we disapprove of.

I personally don't understand what the big deal is lately, every country on Earth has immigration rules and regulations not just us. If people come here illegally then they are committing a crime that is very severe.. I understand people are looking at it like the majority just want to support their families and have a better life, but we need security in our country, if they are here undocumented, it is a threat to the US- it's a security issue that is very severe... if someone wants to come here then they need to go through the process of coming here legally, if they don't then they are committing a crime-It is considered a crime in any country not just here.. it's a threat to our security as with any country

I don't know what country you are living in, but here in America, the term illegal means not legal, and being not legal means that if you do that, you have committed a crime. IE illegal immigrant has committed a crime by illegally entering our country.
Does that compute? If not, then I advise 3rd grade 101.

It (in my opinion) is a population control plu we NEED to know who comes in here. WE cant let terrorists in (yet ironically we did) we cant let drug trafficers in here etc. I am PRO immigration, however I dont see how the 'open borders' idea can work. It (again in my opinion) is a matter of immigration reform. I agree people of all Nations should have a right at bettering themselves, our Governement needs to step up to the plate and create away that these people can afford to get papers in a timely manner. If our Government changed I strongly feel that we would have alot less illegals. These people WANT to become legal, they dont like watching their backs ever second, but at the same time, they cant afford the time and money it takes to accuire status...this is a policy issue, not a humane issue.

Because they are breaking the laws!!
Every human being has right to make their life better. No one will argue that point. Immigration is part of US history. Millions of people came to the US and became US citizens by going through the propper channels!!

You have got to be kidding me, right?
Immigration laws are in effect to protect you and me.
Without laws governing the immigration of people into this country anyone can get into this country without being identified.
That means terrorists, convicted felons, and people carrying communicable diseases.
Immigration laws serve as the primary source of screening to ensure that people who wish to immigrate here are actually people that should be welcomed in to this country and not threats to society.
Humans that chose to live in society have the responsibility to follow the laws governing society. Despite how sorry your circumstances are you do not have the right to break the law.
If you were poor and hungry would you break in someones house if their doors were unlocked.
I for one have no intention of embracing anarchy by closing my eyes to those that wish to break the law.

Because illegal presense in the USA violates US immigration laws. Because borders are governed by federal laws, violation of immigration laws is a federal offense.
No one denies the motives of most illegal aliens (although many come here to push drugs and commit other crimes). Of course, they wish to better their lives. However, it fair that someone who lives in Iran or India, who has been waiting for YEARS to get into the US, watch another who can merely cross the border and not be prosecuted? Is it just to wait patiently and respect US sovereignty just so that someone, by virtue of geographic proximity, be permitted to enter the US as he wishes?

First of all you answered your own question
I'm not going to explain to you why breaking the law is a crime but I will say that why don't you ask all the Chinese and Indian immigrants who are working hard to get their American citizenship, they are doing it the correct way and they're welcome to stay.
Illegal Immigrants don't think they have to respect American Immigration laws, they are criminals
