I am angry when I see Israeli settlers from Hebron destroy improvements made to Shuhada Street with my tax money. Also, it angers me that my government is giving over $10 billion to a country that is more prosperous than most of the other countries in the world and uses much of its money for strengthening its military and the oppression of the Palestinian people.

Israel is the only stronghold of freedom and democracy in the Middle East. It is in the interest of the United States to ensure the survival of Israel.

The Arabs, plain and simple, are not prepared to accept the presence of a Jewish state in their midst. They are therefore using the weapon of terrorism to attempt to destroy Israel and disperse the Israelis throughout the world.

To this end they have invented the "Palestinian People."

In fact, as David Basch wrote, "'Palestinians' [are an] Arab people no one heard of before 1967 before Israeli governments certified this piece of propaganda... As has been noted many times before, prior to 1948, that is before Jews had begun to call themselves Israelis, the only persons known as "Palestinians" were Jews, with the Arabs much preferring to identify themselves as part of the great Arab nation."

Ahmed Shuqeiri, later the chairman of the PLO, declared to the UN Security Council "It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria."

Syrian President Hafez Assad once told PLO leader Yassir Arafat:

"You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian People, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people."

Only a clear and decisive victory by Israel over the Palestinians and their backers can bring peace to the Middle East.

Money well spent Israel is the only democracy in that area, we have spent 400 billion on Iraq already so the 10 billion is a bargain
Palestinian could have peace today if they chose to, you forgot the Oslo accord where Yassir Arafat got 95% of what he wanted for the Palestinian people but chose at the last minute to do the Intifada instead, unfortunately sometimes to stay in power some leaders chose victimhood rather than peace.

We give money to a lot of countries, why pick on 1? What is your agenda? The aid to Israel is for military purposes, & Israel probably lives under a greater threat than any other country. If the "Palestinians" (a recently invented term with no historical justification) stopped murdering Israelis, There would be peace & they could have another Arab country. That is not what they want. They want to destroy Israel. Israel is not more prosperous than "any country", Its percapita GDP is only about 1/2 of ours. We do not give them anything close to $10 billion a year.
