The voters will soon learn the liberal Dems cannot be counted on. Remember Pelosi's criticism of Bush and how he "invaded Iraq without just cause"? Check out what the liberal queen of flip-flop said earlier:
"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." - Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998.

I think Nancy Pelosi's actions and demeanor will mean the world to Hillary Clinton's campaign. She's going to be second in line to the Presidency and people are going to be going at her with a fine tooth comb. She'll be scrutinized and examined like no politician before her simply because she is a woman. If she does well, it's onto Hillary's campaign, if she does badly, Hillary's going to have a hard time of it.
I hope Hillary does run, and from what I know of her right now, I hope she wins. She's one tough cookie, she's brilliant, and she's a hawk - which is necessary for any woman President in this country to get elected. A lot can happen in two years, we've got a long way to go. As far as the prospect being scary, I'm not sure why you say that, you didn't explain. "Scary" to me describes the nitwit sitting in office right now, that's for sure.
Willys: How patently ridiculous. The President and his Administration convinced almost everyone of the whole WMD b.s. by using bad intel. Now you want to blame Pelosi for believing him? What about all the rest who believed him, Democrats and Republicans alike? They were lied to and they chose to trust the Commander in Chief. For most of them, it was the last time they could ever trust him.

I'm hoping the Republicans in Congress will pick another Dem to support as speaker. If all Republicans vote for the same person and that Dem can get 15 Dem votes Pelosi would lose.

She may very well run for the nomination but she has way too much baggage to drag along. After all, she's the only First Lady we've ever had who was under criminal indictment, and there's a whole lot of that Whitewater stuff out there that could come bubbling to the surface.

That stimulus equipment replaced into an entire shaggy dog tale, and there is a lot money that the country is dropping, its unhappy.

It looks like she intends to run. If she wins, I will seriously consider relocating to another country. I don't think she's got what it takes to be an effective national leader.

Run? Yes. Her ego is way to big for her not to.
Win? I don't think a majority of voters are that stupid.

Hillary will run.
She will be elected.
(I think she is an evil Marxist, but I would vote for her before I would John Edwards.)

Scary?
No, scary is wondering if that cop that just got behind you saw you lift your Heineken bottle.
What you're proposing is apocalyptic.
