He retold the soldier's story today on the news and I thought it was a really honourable and noble thing to do. If you have not heard about it, look it up. What are your thoughts?

I will explain this one last time. This is what I have heard directly from the mouths of Pelosi and Reid and other prominent democrats.
Democrats want to gradually reduce troops and to not raise taxes on the middle class, but to reverse the tax cuts for the 1% wealthiest Americans in order to help lower the cost of living for the middle class and poor. To do that, medicare and healthcare costs will be lowered, inflation reduced, social security improved, the NCLB Act supported more, tuition costs for education reduced, and more rigid steps to protect the environment. After this, the stock market that Bush is so proud of will actually be able to help the average citizen, which it is not helping right now.
So as you can see, these are their plans. I am certainly glad I voted democratic.
PLEASE don't say in the future that you are being kept in the dark about the democratic agenda. Ok?

The signs said, "THANK GOD FOR DEAD SOLDIERS!" He was a soldier in Iraq and the day before he died his time was up and he was allowed to come back to the States. But, he wanted to stay another 6-8 months. My other friend talked to him that very day before he was killed.

These protestors were outside and there were also Hell's Angels that rode all the way from Wisconsin (this was the Chicago suburbs) and every time the protestors started shouting, the Hells Angels guys started reving their engines. They brought many U.S. flags with them and presented them to my friend's family and displayed them everywhere.

The protestors were not protesting the war in Iraq apparently. And they weren't Muslims either. Supposedly, these people do this crap every time a soldier dies and hope that one of the mourners will go over and slug them and then they sue. Talk about people with no hearts, no souls. I wouldn't be surprised if once in a while one of these people get killed by a wake attendee.

All polls are biased, and this MSNBC poll is not exempt. But with 354203 responses I think it deserves to be taken somewhat seriously. For those that disagree dont worry. Nancy Pelosi has said "impeachment is off the table" Howard Dean said "I know half the country wants us to impeach the President and all that kind of stuff but we're not gonna do that - we're not gonna do that."

Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment?

Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial.
87%

No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors."
4.4%

No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching.
6.6%

I don't know.

My little sister (19) bought a truck and has owned it for 26 days. She had 30 days to get the tags changed, so dealer tags are still good on it. She didn't have insurance yet because she couldn't get insurance until she got the tags. Today, as she was leaving my house another lady ran a stop sign and t-boned her, totalling the truck. My sister was ticketed for no insurance- how much trouble is she most likely going to be in? We live in Tennessee and she's never been in trouble for anything before. She bought from a little dealership that does their own financing and she was supposed to take them proof of insurance next week when she brought in her first payment. The other lady involved was charged with wreckless driving.

The Liberal Media shows all the negatives of Iraq, but none of te positives. Liberal media has headlines like: 2 SOLDIERS DEAD IN IRAQ, but in World War II, our media only showed the positives and that united our country. In World War II, more than 2 soldiers were dying each day, and we won the war. The terrorists see that our Liberal news makes us ununited, and that makes them stronger. If we lose the war, or withdraw, IT IS BECAUSE OF THE LIBERALS.

For God's sake! They haven't even convened yet!!! They won't until January. Republicans literally PROVE without a doubt that they, with their false ideas about the democratic agenda, have no idea what democrats plan to do.
My advice is for them to give democrats a chance. A chance, the same way democrats gave Bush a chance before he wore out his welcome. Just chill out and wait till January. OK?

first off, there is no group called "the terrorists"... so who exactly are these people and what is the name of the group that will be attacking and taking over Iraq... where will they come from... where are they now (a huge army amassed along the border somewhere waiting for us to leave?)

I don't really get the logistics of terrorists taking over iraq and how that would happen...

al-queda is mostly destroyed according to Bush and Rummy... were they lying? they shouldn't be able to do anything near taking over a country...

the current elected government of Iraq is very Iran friendly... why would Iran attack if the current elected government is more than happy to work with them now? you don't need to attack people who agree with you and think the same way you do.

I just don't really get the logistics of how terrorists, who ever they are, could take over a country, especially since Iraq has several thousand trained/armed army troops, according to the goverment.

how would it work?
