How come when we don't state the democratic agenda, repubs ask about it. And when we do they don't believe us?

I will explain this one last time. This is what I have heard directly from the mouths of Pelosi and Reid and other prominent democrats.
Democrats want to gradually reduce troops and to not raise taxes on the middle class, but to reverse the tax cuts for the 1% wealthiest Americans in order to help lower the cost of living for the middle class and poor. To do that, medicare and healthcare costs will be lowered, inflation reduced, social security improved, the NCLB Act supported more, tuition costs for education reduced, and more rigid steps to protect the environment. After this, the stock market that Bush is so proud of will actually be able to help the average citizen, which it is not helping right now.
So as you can see, these are their plans. I am certainly glad I voted democratic.
PLEASE don't say in the future that you are being kept in the dark about the democratic agenda. Ok?

LadySable: just to touch on a few points... less than 5 percent are actually receiving minimum wage, so a slight rise shouldn't result in wholesale inflation, since it's only affect a small amount of people...
and you can actually choose which tax cuts to take away, like the investment tax cut... that's a key one that dems probably will roll back... investors are saving billions from it, and odds are, you haven't saved anything from it... they are talking about keeping the ones that help you...

That is an agenda to kill the the economic recovery, because you and I both know the cost of those things will not go down the Dem have just reduced the money coming into the coffers by billions, the only thing that will get accomplished is the people who don't pay any taxes anyway will think this rich are taking it in the #$%, when in all reality, they really don't care. wealth is not taxed income is taxed Kennedy, and the limousine liberals don't pay taxes on anything but the salary the draw from the government, and they do not pay SSI taxes on any of it. The REPUBLICAN AGENDA is full of CRAP!!! They support EVERYTHING that goes against the sensabilities to the average american... Such as myself. Contrary to what you may think, I do believe you. I believe you because this plan that you have outlined is typical Democrat.

Regarding war - Cut & Run (self explanitary)
Taxes - Raise them (to be explained)

My family has enjoyed the tax breaks that the Democrats plan to eliminate. We enjoy these tax breaks because we are not wealthy (surprise). So when you eliminate these tax breaks you have increased my taxes. Since I am lower middle class, how is this going to help me?

I have heard mention of increasing the minimum wage too. Since I do make above minimum wage and since everything else will go up in price as employers and businesses raise prices to accomodate the minimum wage increase, how exactly is this going to benefit me - the typical lower to middle class?

It's a rhetorical trick, just like the one they played with Kerry's botched joke. Their brain-dead illogic on that one was that if he had said, "get us stuck," sure, it would have been about Bush, but since he didn't say "us," it has to be about the troops. But even without "us," it can be taken either way by anyone with an open mind. And they know they're playing games with statements; Chickenhawks have always thought that anyone who goes in the military is a loser.

People that are very rich(10%) pay 90% of the taxes. It's easy to look up. I can't believe Dems. because they are all proven liars. One example is: " I did not have sex with that woman".
