Salvage is a dealer in reclaimed building materials. He learned from the 'Planning notices' in the local paper that Bill Derr proposes to renovate an historian barn in the locality, using reclaimed facing bricks traditionally used in the vicinity. salvage has several thousand suitable 2nd hand bricks of the type required in his yard. salvage sent a fax to Bill Derr, which read "I can offer several thousand 2nd hand facing bricks suitable for your needs at £400 per thousand." Bill Derr faxed in reply "I will take four thousand. Need delivery in 1 load by monday nxt week."
Salvage then wrote: "thank you for ur fax, which is recieving our attention"

Advise Bill Derr as to the legal position on each of the following alternative assumptions:
1) Salvage packed the bricks and loaded them on a lorry for delivery to Bill, but b4 the van set out Bill phoned to say he no longer needed the bricks.
2) Salvage failed to deliver any bricks to Bill

Just wondering what I can do to obtain such a thing. I'd really like the benifits of an ID card issued from one of these states, however, I don't plan on living there anytime soon...

I'd like to know how much the author earns if her/his book sells like 10.000 copies. let's say one copy's like 6 bucks.

how much do you have to pay to the literary agent, how much goes for the taxes and other expenses

thanx

like fallujah, most citizens were evacuted, how come we didnt just bomb them (non nuclear)? we would have saved soldiers, time, money, morale...even if "women and children" perished, they could have left (they werent being held hostage) since the area was terrorrist heaven. to be honest, arent women and children LEAST important to the family unit? think about this -

if the male dies (eg our soldiers that did) then
a) the family unit is completely devastated if the woman doesnt have a job
b)she will prob need to remarry , with children this is hard
c)the children do not have the proper leadership

if mother goes
a)father remarries, family unit eventually resolved

if child goes
a)another is made

so, even though any death is sad, we cant sacrifice our forces for some obstinate civilians shielding radicals, can we?

If you honestly believe that Bush and/or the Government deliberately planned and carried out the attacks on 9/11, then why on earth do you still live in here? If I thought that my government killed 3,000 of my fellow citizens I would emigrate as fast as I could.

As i was passing through an intersection with a green light, a car on the adjacent street ran the red light and hit the passenger side of my car. I called the police & they refused to come to the scene due to the fact that there wasnt any injuries. I only have liability coverage & my insurance company isn't helping me prove that he is at fault. I don't know how i can prove that he ran the red light, if you have any ideas or you have been in a similar situation please help me out.Thanks.

Let's be honest here. There are more Enlisted Personal than Officers in the armed forces. Only a High School Diploma is required to join as an Enlistee. A H.S. Diploma does not get you far in todays workplace. A College degree gives you more options for a good paying job, making it less likely for you to join the military, which makes it less likely you will go to Iraq. If I am wrong about this, please explain why. . .(I joined the military and got my college education afterward (using the G.I. Bill), which, if I had to do again, I would reverse it).
