Have you noticed, since we've been over in Iraq: and Powell stepped down - we haven't heard anything about him, or from him?

After serving our country, he served under our current president, then he got sick from swallowing so much B.S. and then having to spit it back out to the American people he got even sicker. His integrity finally got the better of his conscience and he must have told his fearless leader he couldn't do it any longer, or either Cheney, or Rumsfeld, or Rove realized he wasn't going to continue lying for then and ditched him.
I only regret that this man chose to be so foolish at to serve this administration his first time around in politics. I bet they smashed the crap out of his idea of what serving America through politics meant and he probably also realized they were killing any possibilities of any future political aspirations he may have.

no it was Powell who pointed out to bush that Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11 , rumsfeld replied Iraq has better aerial targets than Afghanistan......i believe it was at this point Powell decided to quit

The Republicans have shut him up because they know a war hero saying how bad they war in Iraq is going would make the republicans look even worse then they already do now. He has hopes of running for office one day and so he can't upset his party.

He was slimed. Used then sacrificed. Like so many before him.
A lot of our Intel, FBI, CIA, NSA etc. have Fled this toxic Talk to the Hand Administration.
