I think that everyone's there from USMC Force Recon and USAF parajumper to British SAS, Australian SAAS and even French 2nd REP shock units.

Why Special Forces are more suited to fight this type of combat operations than regular units ?

...about Bush's administration and what he's doing to the US's reputation. How can a country who owns something like Guantanamo Bay be considered "democratic"? Again I truly feel Bush is on one end of the spectrum and the US is on the other.

My brother while giving a friend a ride home, was pulled over by police. During a consented search the officer found no drugs on my brother, or in his vehicle. During a consented search of the passenger and her personal belongings, the officer found suspected meth inside her purse. The officer charged her with the drugs. He also charged my brother with the same drugs. Is this legal? During my brothers probation hearing the passenger claimed all responsibilty of the drugs, and testified to the fact that he (my brother) had no knowledge of the drugs. The court revoked his probation. he has been in jail for eight months. and still has got to go to trial over this. What does the law books have to say in this case?

He said this: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
But he keeps saying it was botched joke, which was aimed at the President. I don't really understand how that quote could be directed at the president, it seems pretty directed at military personnel, to me. Does anyone know what he meant to say or how he meant to say it? I'm just asking a question and I'm not declaring sides here, so be nice!

Does anyone really care about AIDS and what it is doing in Africa? Or is the "war on terror" more important than millions dying on a continent which has little resources for the US government to steal? (Except for all the Gold, Uranium and Diamonds in Southern Africa and the oil in the north)

I was watching the news today and saw interviews about the current situation in the white house. These people were wealthy, old republicans. They were talking about how if democrats were in office how they would tax the hell out of people to answer the current problems and how they would drag the economy into the mud...etc. So obviously the intention of the interviews was to sway people to vote republican...

What i dont understand is why they cant interview the average working citizen their views. The tax breaks that the gov. just gave out only help the wealthy and big businesses. I think that they should show the opinions of the people who work their asses off daily and get taxed the same as someone who has 15 million in the bank...you know what i mean? And another thing, the economy was better when democrats were in office (clinton) than it had been in over 50 years...how can these people contradict these things and not feel ashamed?

What is your take on this

Kerry's people always said he wouldn't take any advice and insisted on sticking his foot in his mouth and this latest is a good example. And then the next day loudly proclaiming he did not intend to apologize only made it worse. He could really easily have said no, that isn't what I meant. and finished the whole thing.
