Really America is a Republic, so Democracy is just a myth..Right now with Bush it's a Dictatorship, and Democracy is once again a myth. Democracy means "For the people, By the people" (Abraham Lincoln), not for the corporations, and the rich people that want to rule.

Democracy is not the best system of governance but there is no other system better than this. It is perfectly alright for C to win and rule as long as it listens to the voices of A, B, and D and makes them feel part of the system. Respect for the individual liberty, rule of law and justice for all should be the focal point of democracy.

democracy is certainly a bluff, I may concur with you. It is true that C wins, even though 60% have voted against him, but, there is no alternative.. It is certainly better to have 2 party system, but, with so many castes and a leader for each caste, who fight for the loaves of the bread (Power), two party system in India can not be thought of.

People deserve the Government they choose.
