Egging Houses

By far the best way to get the egg off is to put straight white vinigar in a garden sprayer and spray it on the effected area. Vinigar contains something to break down the egg proteins, (check some science site). Let it soak for about five minutes then spray the vinigar on again, dont let the vinigar dry therefore it is recomended to do this at night make sure you give it at least two sprays of vinigar or more. Then after ten minutes from the last time you sprayed the vinigar hose it off well you can use a pressure cleaner but it is not nessecary a hose will work fine this will even remove hard baked on egg to some degree with several trys it will be good as new... Cheers

Also if you know who done it heres what you do: Get a dozen eggs chuck them at their houses and their cars then turn off their power and water destroy their gardens then, write a letter saying you have constant video survelance of your house and you saw them and if it they throw eggs again you will do what you done again they probably wont know who you are but wear a mask anyway.
Bye

Yes, it is considered willful damage of property. You need to file a police report for the insurance company to review and process the claim.

An egged house is no joke when you are the homeowner. Dried egg can damage exterior finishes and rotten eggs can become downright smelly. The sooner you get to the mess, the better.
Instructions

* STEP 1: Hose off the area thoroughly as soon as you spot it.
* STEP 2: Remove excess egg and shells from house using a towel or rag.
* STEP 3: Use a solution of one-half white vinegar and one-half warm water if any sign of the stain remains.
* STEP 4: Soak a towel in the water/vinegar solution.
* STEP 5: Place the towel against affected area for 15-20 minutes. Prop it in place with a board or ladder if necessary.
* STEP 6: Remove the towel and rinse the area with a hose.
* STEP 7: If the stain remains, rent a pressure washer. Look under "Pressure Washing" in the Yellow Pages.
* STEP 8: Pressure wash the affected area, following instructions carefully. Generally, keep the stream at least a foot from the siding.

Next time she comes onto your property, call 911 immediately and report vandalism. It would be great if they arrived in time to catch her in the act of TP-ing or egging your house! Frankly, if she were coming onto MY property to vandalize, I would not mess with throwing an egg at her...I would bean her with an anvil! (Although that might be illegal in my state.) Why is she doing this!?! Call the cops whenever she comes around your home.

Yes it is illegal to egg someone's house. It is also awfully mean. I hope that who ever did this to you will be fined and made to clean the mess that they caused.

I think the punishment should fit the crime and I think that the judge should make them go to a soup kitchen and serve food to people who can not afford to waste it. I also think they should be made to collect eggs from a chicken farm.

I wish you the best of luck and hope everything works out for you.

You should have reported it before cleaning it and also taken pictures and given the police the copies of the pictures and the names, phone numbers and addressed of the eye witnesses. Don't know if because it was Halloween, they will cut them so slack. but in my eyes vandalism is vandalism any day of the year.
If you do not want to ge the police involved and you know the people who did it, tell them they have 12 hours to clean it up and apologize or you already have the phone in your hand!

Yes , because its classed as damage to your property . The offenders would probably be charged and given a caution .
. You can report them to the police , and use your witnesses.
Just wash the egg off with soapy water and the use a good quality glass cleaner.

If you wash it off right away, if you dn't and let the sun dry it on, there can be damage to some finishes.

It is either criminal damage to property, or criminal tresspass, or another name for laws on this.

But yes it is illegal

The sooner you remove the traces the easier it will be. We had similar done to us and it wasn't noticed for quite a while afterwards. I'm pretty sure if you find the culprits they can be had for criminal damage, however, you will have to consider the costs of pursuing the action, especially when the police aren't much help these days.
