What I don't understand is that the widow claims that for a decade, the Philip Morris company denied that cigarettes caused cancer, or that her husband never saw any paperwork from them that would say it did cause cancer. Also, she claims that they didn't pay attention to the Surgeon Generals warning labels because the Phillip Morris company said cigarettes were not a health risk. This is where PC crap comes in, I would have that jury on deadlock if they tried awarding her that much money. I think it is a concious descicion of people to smoke, and even a decade ago, cigarettes were know to be fatal in the long term. That's why there are Surgeon General warnings on the damn packs. What do you think, I think she doesn't deserve 79.5 million, maybe 10 grand if that.

My ex owes me over $50000. We haven't seen or received any money except for tax interceps and something about a lien payment for about 4 years. He was on the IL Deadbeat Dad website and then he was removed. I am told this is confidential info.
The guy hasn't even seen or called his kids all this time. I have 4 children and I think I should know how he got removed without paying up or at least the general guidelines to being removed.

IMMIGRATION: Support guest worker program, restructuring of the border patrol to oust corruption, no amnesty, fines for those that are already here, increased jail time for repeat offenders, strict enforcement against business owners.

GUN CONTROL: No automatics, no silencers, occasional, madatory psycheatric evals for all gun owners.

ABORTION: Keep it legal

GAY MARRAIGE: call it something else, let em raise kids, but tax them much more

IRAQ WAR: doens't benefit me, only corporate contrators

DEATH PENALTY: keep it

VOTING MACHINES: where's the paper trail?

WOMAN PRESIDENT: it would be nice

WAR ON DRUGS - never will be won, needs government regulation, high taxation, and strict penalites for any crime committed while under the influence

DOMESTIC SPYING: it is needed

ELECTORAL COLLEGE: get rid it

ETHANOL 85: more please

Character and Performance:
The Presidency of George W. Bush

George W. Bush: a case of an addictive/authoritarian personality? Three major formative influences have been said to have shaped Bush's character or personality.

A chief challenge until the age of forty was to escape his fathers shadow; until assuming the presidency George W. had folled his father's path but had failed to achieve his fathers sucess.

His religious conversion in the period following a 1985 conversation Bush had with the Rev. Billy Graham.

His becoming a teetotaler the day after an wild 40th birthday party in 1986, following many years of alcohol abuse.

Together, these last two changes are regarded as constituting a turning point in Bush's life.
