I work in Loss Prevention. You were basically banned from the store for a year. If you go in there they can have you arrested without warning because they had you sign a criminal tresspass notice. (It just states that you know you are banned for a year)

The fine was a civil demand and if Walamrt did not contact you for it then you dont need to worry about it. If they did fine you would know (Walmarts lawters would be involed)

Unless you went to court and were convicted for stealing you will not have a record.

The only thing is if you steal from another store that uses the same database as walmart they can tell you stole in the past.

Scuse me? First you steal from a company store. Then they do not prosecute you. Where Is your gratitude for that? Now you want them to hire you because , what? You're such an up front guy? You did the crime; you are a thief. You got light time; be grateful. Now do the time & quit your whining.

Peed off yet? Good!! Grow up. And PS. If you apply for a job at a WalMart, what makes you think they will not check their own records (they will, for sure) and have you arrested for trespass? What a way to start a school year, Bubba !! Are you sure you are smart enough for college?

a charge of trespass does go on your record. they may have bargained so to speak, you should have been charged the way it sounds.but if your not recieveing any papers to pay a fine or go to court then i would say they bargained and you best steer clear of that place.actually stuff like that is public info. county courthouse you can look it up there if you want to know for sure.

Admittedly you shoplifted from Wal-Mart. If there is a fine attached to this, then pay it. Do you think it'll just disappear because you ignore it? Make it right.

If they gave you a trespass card then do not go back to that store. It is stupid to risk going to jail to go into Wal-Mart
