I'm not sure who is actually doing that, but they shouldn't be. At least President Bush has stood up numerous times and says he will listen to the military leaders and make decisions based on their suggestions. He has said he trusts the leaders over there and trusts they have a grip on what is going on and will let him know what changes need to be made. That almost seems a little much, but he is probably right. I think all parties are geniunely concerned about our troops, although I think it is the Republicans who focus more on the heroism of those in Iraq as opposed to the chaos, problems and general unskilled character of the troops as does some Democrats, specifically John Kerry (see his statement today stating essentially those fighting in Iraq are only there because they couldn't cut it in school).
