The basic two commandments of Jesus. Love god, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Seriously I think Kerry is a good man, but he'll probably remain a Massachusetts Senator for life. Arlen Spector, John Warner, Chuck Nagel, Lindsay Graham, Russ Feingold, Jane Harmon, Carl Levin and Barack Obama. a strange assortment, but I think all of these are good people. I can't say Christian, because three are not!

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

But I don't think any of the politicians would take heed to that. They are too busy trying to take God out of everything so they won't "offend" anybody.

How's about that Sermon on the Mount business? As far as I know the only ones who come close to Christian behavior are Feingold and Barney Franks. Go figure.

Seperation of church and state....They don't need to hear scriptures they need to listen to the people.
