Which is; illegal immigrants to the US are only following a long tradition. I don't believe that any of the Huron or Sioux or Navajo (et al) actually invited Europeans over to wipe them out. Dobbs, indeed, is an English name. The American Revolutionary War was fought over the idea of "No taxation without representation". As illegal immigrants do not have representation why should they pay tax? Your country was built on an ideal you are trying to defend without the knowledge of how it was built. So yes, I apologise for being insulting, but perhaps you ought to brush up on your history before you start making a fool of yourself among those who are not foolish. It's people like you that cause unrest. And when you have the bollocks to defend what you claim to believe in, like, for example, going to Iraq, then let me know. Until then, best to keep yourself to yourself. Put your money where your mouth is or shut up.

My wife teaches in an inner-city school, as she has for 20 years. This past Friday the parents and local activist held a protest outside the school because they want the tax-PAYERS to pay for THEIR children to eat a meal after school. Already 98% of the kids eat free at the school for breakfast and 100% eat free lunch paid for by the Tax PAYERS...not the Tax RECIEVERS...that' (3) meals a day they want us to pay for. Local Democrat leaders who organized this whinning party yelled through a bullhorn that republicans want to ignore the hungry children...of course nothing was mentioned about the wonderful crack-addicted parents..nothing was said about the homes of these children...nothing about 9 out 10 households are headed by a single mother..Not one word...NO one asked the simple question: WHERE are the FATHERS??..NOTHING No responsiblity..NOT one word why children at 6 years old knows about drugs and sex...MY God what has happened to PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY<---NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

The situation: verbal assault by party A led to an accidental hit to the face of party A by party B.
First of all, the cops told us that because the verbal assualt led to something physical (even though it was on accident), party A would be held responsible. However, because party A involved minors, they were given the choice to press charges against party B, which they declined to do. Can they, at a later time, decide they DO want to press charges, or is it too late?

None of this is the issue!
The issue is ILLEGAL immigration.
ACTIONS that are against the current law.
The, then current, laws determined the status of our ancestors, not the now current laws! THINGS CHANGE!
Stop mixing things in the debate that have no place!

First of all I live in the state of Arizona. The court ordered settlement was for approx. $94,000 I was to receive about $73,000 my attorney the balance of approx $21,000. I endorsed the back of a joint check made out to us both. He was then to forward me a check for the $73,000. He never paid me a cent. Not knowing any better I filed a lien on his property. However I never recovered anything. I even re-filed the lein when it became dated, still I never recovered anything. The attorney knowing all that he knows about legal issues filed a motion with a local judge to have the lein removed and taken from his credit files . Its been years and I have never been paid. Is it too late? Have I been cheated out of my money by a lawyer who is slicker than owl snot. What can I do to this SOB?

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to get either my congresman or senator to sponsor a constitutional amendment that will, once and for all, solve the illegal imigration issue.
if we all start bombarding our congressmen and senators with this idea, we can get it done!
the amendment needs these few points:
1. children born within the US & territories receive only the status of its parent(s)
2. illegal aliens are barred from owning, renting, working or receiving education.

Easy enough, right?

We need them hear to stop the violence. Two of my students have been shot and killed in the last 5 years. One 16, the other 12.
The Oakland murder rate is at an all time high. The President has never visited Oakland nor his father so he probably does not know about the problems here.
