If you spend some time in the United States of America and talk to the people you will find that many are as disenchanted about their political representation as just about any other country in the World!

I'm not sure which country, in a state of civil war at this time, you are referring too, but if you are referring to Iraq that country was not in a state of civil war before the USA decided to invade it - for the purpose of regime change [get rid of Saddam Hussein] - an illegal act in international law and therefore both President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Anthony Blair are criminals if international law has any integrity.

There appears to be a lot of misunderstanding of the question which was about the American Civil War not the Revolutionary War!. There was very little outside interference in the civil war although the British sympathised with the South mainly because they were being deprived of cotton for their mills. Many European countries like Britain,France and Prussia had what might loosely be called military observers of the conflict. It is human nature to interfere in other peoples business.

You are misinformed.

US civil war, Anaconda plan and trading for supplies, were two very big factors why the north won the civil war. The British were originally going to help out the south, but northern persuasion, IE the industries/trading, changed things.

You need to pick up a history book and read a little more prior to making statements you know nothing about.

The English worked in the south as advisers for the military. Many of the rifles the south used were Enfields made in England. The French sold the south cannons and gunpowder. The world has been at war from day one and that well never change.

Civil wars tend to involve a lot of death and destruction, and there is a humanitarian impulse to do what you can to stop it.
