I'm genuinely interested in any fascists who might be able to give me an intelligent answer; even though I seriously doubt it.

I mean those white supremecists who believe in the superiority of the US/Western Ideal and are against illegal immigrants while historically uneducated.

Generally a true fascist will actually have a political agenda and as such is not likely to be stupid.
Although a lot of racists are indeed morons and dullards they are rarely true fascists.
If we take the example of Hitler we can see that actually he was of at least average intellect and was very skilled as a public speaker.
There are lots of philosophers and scientists who could be described as fascists and they also are usually intelligent.
Although I do not approve of fascism I do not automatically think people with these views are stupid or evil. Irrational or misinformed are better terms to use.

I am not sure if their are any genuine Fascists out there nowadays.
Mussolini, Ezra Pound and Heidigger are examples of three Fascists who certainly weren´t stupid.
However, to approach this question from your standpoint, I´d say that Fascism as an ideology is concerned with instinct and masculine ethics. It is not concerned with Enlightenment ideals of education and tolerance.
If you want to explore the cultural milieu that gave rise to Fascism, you should read the following authors all of whom were drawn to Fascism: Yeats (an Irish Blueshirt); Ezra Pound; Knut Hamsun (the Nobel prize winning Norwedian who broadcast in favour of the Nazis); and Celine (virulent French anti-Semite; D. H. Lawrence (Apocalypse).

I doubt anyone would define themselves as a "fascist".
As as for why they're stupid an dignorant, probably for the same reason that ultra liberal extreme Left Wingers are usually stupid and ignorant (usually very ill informed too from my experience.)
Much better to take a moderate line.

What part of your question do you want answering as you seem to have answered it yourself by assuming that all fascists are stupid and ignorant.
We all know what 'assume' did - it made an *** of U and ME!
I think perhaps you should do some research yourself to find the answer.
