MTV Base has recently changed their advertising campaigns to suit the british youths needs.

We used to be bombarded with american artists and maybe one or two uk artists, which is fair, as R&B and hip hop to my knowledge started out in the USA.

Now when i turn on to base, i see these adverts that pop up, representing UK talent, yet im not seeing talent, im seeing steriotypes, negative steriotypes. black youth (and some white) spitting lyrics which ain't saying nothin. Garage MC's with no real lyrical content, just bragging about what they can do, and what the next man can't do.

There's clips of them making conversation with each other as well, and showing signs of being brainwashed by gangsta rap. Seriously, im just thinkin to myself wtf kinda of influence, is this having on other potentially brainwashed hip hop heads.

Im young just turned 24, and still feel under 19. I wanna know if for one, anyone has seen the change in MTV Base, and two, what do you think about it?

How about passing down penalties that basically state that those who commit such fraud must commit all of their future resouces to reinstating the resources of the individual victims until such time that the injustice has been remedied. Only when this has been accomplished may that person once again pursue the good life for themself.

These two men have done more to shape the Republican Party as it exists now than anyone else living. What does it say about the party that two druggies and winos is the best they could do?

This does not mean that I like Bush or don't, I'm just asking a question, so please don't assume that I do or don't! I'm just asking WHY you like him, or you think he is a good president. I really really don't want this to get heated so please do not answer and try and say Bush is a bad president, I asked another question called, "People who DON'T like Bush: Why?" So instead of posting here click on my Q&A and find that question, I will post the URL in a couple of minutes. I'm just asking people who do like President Bush why they think he is a good president. That's it. So please don't start a debate or answer with anything else. Remember, go to my other question if you DON'T like him! Again, don't assume anything about me by this question, I'm just asking a question! Thank you so much! Serious answers only please =)

My mother died 4 yrs ago and her estate was settled through probate. We thought everything was settled, the probate was closed. However, my mother had her name on the title of my sister's Jeep. My mother's name is the only name on the title. She had put her name on it to help my sister who did not have great credit. My sister paid off the vehicle while the probate was going on. She failed to get the title out of my mother's name. Now, she has the Jeep which is hers, that my Mother still legally owns. How do we get the title changed into my sister's name? Will the probate have to be reopened?

The reason I ask is i've been reading so many questions on how Bush sucks and how are economy is bad. But yet our economy is the best it's been in awhile. Gas prices are down and unemployment is down. Sure there are some hot button issues out there, like illigal immigration and the war on terrorism, but to be honest, how informed are we really on all the issues? Do we really want to know every piece of info? Don't we elect these people to have that kind of decision power so we don't have to?

One other point I want to make to all the Bush dissenters. We all need to realize that in this country, Bush does not have ultimate autority. We have checks and balances in place. If people want to be upset with things that are going on here, be mad at the Congressmen and Senators we elect. They are the ones with the real power and they abuse them too.

These has been marches in the USA by Illegals demanding rights that they dont qualify for since they are ILLEGALS. Instead of marching in the USA asking for rights, if these same approx. 20 million Mexicans had banded together and protested in Mexico, do you think they could have made a difference in their own countrys future and their own future. Did they march in the USA because they feel that USA is weak and will roll over and they, the ILLEGALS like always be able to take advantage of the USA because the USA doesnt have the guts to enforce to laws on the books. (meaning USA is all talk and no show when it comes to illegal immigrants/ mostly to the Mexicans).

I ask this question only because it seems to me that if someone is as wrong about other things as they are about political matters (which one would more or less expect to be the case) their answers to any sort of question can have absolutely no objective value, other than as inadvertent humor.

Liberals only answer this, please, because I want some really thoughtful, insightful, hip and aware responses. Thanks, in advance.

keeping a open mind, does seem he alone knew how to keep 3 diffrent tribes as one,he didnt do things the way americans see as humane, but we shouldnt judge by american perception, 3 world countrys are diffrently tough, you could kiss your dong goodbye for rapeing a mideast women around there, doesntt fear, keep people in line, then it border line of punishing people who break the law ,so it not done again, not saying it right, all killing is wrong, but punishment, sometime is necessary, even here or people will repeatly break the law .must be someway we could use him,as what he does best, is keep the country together, looking at what else might happen there,we could see that he have no military etc ,treat people fairly ,somewhere along that line, what you think? keep a open mind.
