yup. And depending on where in california you are. I hate to say this, but sometimes they'll approach the guy and ask him questions, maybe run his background really quick, but all of that is if the officer thinks the guy has a bad background or something to hide. Some places in Cali the cop will even escort you home, other places they'll tell you don't worry, buy some pepper spray, and drive away without even caring.

Yes. If the person is making you uncomfortable, it would be a good idea to call 911 and request assistance from the police.

You can call 911 anytime, its up to the operator to determine whether to send a police officer out to help you. If the operator thinks you may be in danger no matter how slight more than likely they will

absolutely. You can call it any time you feel you are in danger. I suggest filing a report, with the police. Once it is on file, if it continues, you can get a restraining order. Don't wait until it is too late.

If you feel you're being stalked, by all means report it! I've been stalked before and it's not fun...hopefully you won't have to go the route of getting a restraining order and all that but report it!

It really should not matter where you live, If you are being stalked you have the right to call the police, They being the law should make sure you are safe.
