Fighting in Iraq does not protect my freedom here in the United States.

I don't think they understood your question.....

Right now fighting in Iraq has put a target on every american's back. We ca no longer leave our country without being shot or or beheaded. As the Iraqis have said they don't want to attack the USA only to get us out of there country. If we would leave the fighting would stop.

Republicans can't seem to understand that. No one is cutting and running only getting out it is over and it is time to go home. We kicked @ss and should be out of there by now.

Why do people stand by hind a party no matter what? I mean there are some really bad people in the Republican party just like there are some in the Democrat party. Why not put a person in office not a party?

Questioner, it doesn't hurt me or my own for you to state something of that nature. I couldn't care less what your belief system is, and if you believe that you have some exclusive access to the truth because you feel that the government burned you in your (supposed) time served in Vietnam, you're sadly mistaken.

Now since you only mention Iraq, that likely means that you have tacit compliance with our actions in Afghanistan. If intervention in a failed state that produces militants that destabilize all of Central Asia by creating refugees and exporting "Islamic Revolution" does protect your freedoms by preventing these cavemen from enroaching on American prerogatives, then how can the same not apply to a failed state that has twice invaded its neighbors (Iran and Kuwait) and demonstrated through the use of chemical weapons on its own people that it is neither a responsible member of the community of nations or a nation that can be trusted to rebuild its military and remain within its borders?

I guarantee you and all the other rodents who march to the same flute music that should gas hits $5-10 a barrel and the economy crash into a wall, that your precious livelihoods are going to vanish overnight. None of you even remotely consider what sort of effect another "Great Depression" would have on all of you, yet you mouth slogans like "no blood for oil" with impunity. Please. If you drive a car or use electricity, every dollar spent, you are reaping the benefits of "Pax Americana", which is American economic and military might in every region of the world SUPPORTED BY ALLIED NATIONS.

Just because you do not see the likelihood of going through the sort of terrorism that Israeli citizens face daily, does not mean your freedoms go undefended. A cornerstone of maintaining those freedoms is a stable economy. Another cornerstone is the assurance that outrageous violations of international law that spill over national borders (no, sadly Darfur does not count and very few of you know the whole story behind that) are put in place. When was the last time you saw the Russians or the Chinese at the forefront of a peacekeeping mission?

And really, if your main source of kicks is making one-liners that are dumbed down for the rodents that dance to the same sort of music, you really, really need to get out more. Do some footwork. You may actually break through some of those paradigms that enslave you.

It's quite simple and I'm sure that's why you don't understand and have to repeat the same question over and over. If we're fighting on foreign soil, then we're not fighting on our own. Perhaps you'd like 9/11 to happen all over again?? We all know you're to yellow to protect yourself, so you have to rely on others to do it, yet you think you can criticize the job they do. In case you haven't noticed, there hasn't been another attack in America since we invaded Iraq. Despite what someone else said, we're not beheaded in other countries. Americans are free to travel and are just as safe as any other nationality that travels.

One day, you might get it, but I doubt it. You've had too much Big Boy and biased propaganda to understand or really know what's going on.

It does protect your freedom you see if Iraq can continue on the democratic path they will be more like us and therefore our friends unlike say north korea where they are under a communist regime and are our enemy

How many times do you repeat the same question?

But as many times as you do... We'll shoot your premise down with the truth and logical answers

We not only fight for our own freedoms... we also fight for the freedoms of others... Remember little conflicts such as WWI and WWII???

are you serious we can not ignore what goes on in the rest of the world we cant pretend anymore 9/11 prove that, war is hell and i dont necessarily agree with this war but we can no longer afford to turn our backs on the rest of the world, because they will come to us!!!!!!!!!!

After 9/11 how do you know?

1. Why don't you think it protects your freedom?

2. Why don't you think other people deserve the freedom you take for granted?

WW3 is coming....This is not an option...We have no choice..
Remember Neville Chamberlain & Hitler ??
Those who do not remember history are doomed to repeat it...
Would you rather fight it "over there" or "over here"..
I would rather fight over there...
For some reason, liberals & dems seem to want to fight it
over here....
Why do you want to fight WW3 within the US borders ?
