It's just that simple.

Depends are diapers for people who pee all over themselves.

The terrorists biggest solace is in the words of the Democrats bashing ourselves. Their own assessment is that they are losing. All we need is an attention span longer than a half hour sitcom, some dedication to the values both the wars backers and the detractors claim, and keep the pressure on them where they are.

Being a football fan, I always say that we have to try and win. There's really nothing else. To quit and run and hide is not the American way.

If you told a football or baseball coach or player to just give up they'd look at you like you're crazy. There's always a chance to win if you keep trying.

And winning is the most important thing in life.

Unite and win is the only way

Even if American's unite it does not mean that they will win, that's just silly. Do you really think if all of the sudden all the American's were for the war that the terrorists would just say..."Oh, damn, they united, we better stop!"
Cutting and running is not an option either, we have made a mess of Iraq, we need to help clean it up.

It's never "just that simple"

We already won, actually. We captured their leader.

Now, they are trying to accomplish something to keep them from adopting another bad leader.

I think Americans should unite and defend.

Work harder to keep the terrorists out of our own country
and let the Iraqi people have theirs back, too.

Very patriotic and rhetorical way of looking at it uncle sam. Depends what your trying to win, if its the olympics then good stuff, human endeavor is always good. If your talking about a war (and I think you are) then your an idiot. Its not that simple, never will be.

Based upon the popularity of the Wall in Washington, comemmorating those valiant souls who sacrificed during the Vietnamese conflict, I say let's let another 40,000 men and women die, then cut and run.

America makes noble mistakes and all it costs is blood and limbs.

Let us stay the course and count the heroes.

We need a new wall, perhaps near the other.

Just a thought.
