Bush took a surplus and has pissed it off into a $250,000,000,000 DEFICIT.

911 happened on HIS watch.

His debt is now $8,500,000,000,000.

The GOP's had control of the White House, the Senate and Congress for over five years. Time to own up to your sh*t.

All of the illegal immigrants in the US fight in Iraq? After 4 years in the service, they are then officially citizens.

Maybe call in the English military or the French or Germans to protect our boarders and deport all the illegal aliens.

I brought a pack of steak from tha butcher that was maranated & when I opened it at home I saw under the maranaide it was rotten meat, it was compleetly brown/black. Then I discovered it had a toung mixed in the marinade to disguise it so I would eat it, like some sort of sick joke.
I rang tha butcher & he said if I bring it back he will give me a new steak and an appology but, what tha ***? this is a fukn' joke. Should I demand more (what?) I mean at least he should deliver me that sh!t so I don't have to drive. What do you think? should I take this to the local media if he dosn't fix me up good?. Its the most discracefull thing ive ever brought.

When speaking with friends I told them I heard "female first name" was a whore. A female at my job brought sexual harrassement charges against me. Since I didn't use her last name, wouldn't a sexual harrassement charge be false. How can I find out what my rights are?

Mexico has a radical idea for a rational immigration policy that most Americans would love. However, Mexican officials haven’t been sharing that idea with us

Mexico, which annually deports more illegal aliens than the United States does, has much to teach us about how it handles the immigration issue. Under Mexican law, it is a FELONY to be an illegal alien in Mexico

The Mexican constitution strictly defines the rights of citizens – and the denial of many fundamental rights to non-citizens, illegal and illegal. Under the constitution, the Ley General de Población, or General Law on Population, spells out specifically the country’s immigration policy.

If the United States adopted such statutes, Mexico no doubt would denounce it as a manifestation of American racism and bigotry.

We hear it over and over....The Bush administration claims that if their generals ask for more men to do X Y or Z, they'd get them, absolutely. We hear over and over from people who were there, or who participated in other military campaigns, that more personnel, sometimes different types of personnel, were and are needed for various tasks in the post-invasion Iraq operation.
Is it all Rumsfeld's failed less-is-more idea?
Is it internal rangling?
What is it? Why, for instance, does this story link:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20061013/wl_mideast_afp/usiraqunrestpolice_061013002233;_ylt=Aod4GKMYtmNAmIkvwBVXtS4UewgF;_ylu=X3oDMTA2ZGZwam4yBHNlYwNmYw--
tell of how we *never* had the right police training staff in place, and how we *never* established basic security and any semblance of the rule of law in Iraq? (Recall, btw, how down in N'Orleans not even food for the starving could be flown in until 'the rule of law' was first established)
How did we get so screwed?

Why is it that everytime the Democrats lose in elections they blame the voting machines? I'm sure most of you have voted and its not exactly brain surgery.

They can't look at themselves and say why aren't people voting for me? Not the darn voting machine cheated me!

I've got a 1 minute speech to present tomorrow on foreign aid, and I need some information (statistics) and persuasive arguments and opinions for me to decide which side I'm on, as well as to help me out along the way of writing it. So, should the US Government continue to supply other nations with foreign aid, or not?

Looks that way, at least after Blair leaves:

The head of the British Army has said the presence of UK armed forces in Iraq "exacerbates the security problems".
Sir Richard Dannatt, Chief of the General Staff, has said that the British should "get out some time soon".

He also said: "Let's face it, the military campaign we fought in 2003, effectively kicked the door in."

There are currently more than 7,000 British soldiers in Iraq, based largely in Basra in the south of the couintry.
The comments directly contradicted so much of what the government had said. Sir Richard might be issuing a "very public warning" to the next prime minister, Sir Richard added that any initial tolerance "has largely turned to intolerance. That is a fact."

Sir Richard, who took on his role in August, also said planning for what happened after the initial successful war military offensive was "poor, probably based more on optimism than sound planning".

I think that the concept is devisive and patronising to black people. I think that it has more relevance in America, due to its history. Why should Britain set apart blacks and celebrate "their history" and no-one else's? (Also, who qualifies as "black"?) Is this just another example of Britain pandering to America?
