He said it again yesterday, if we leave Iraq now the terrorists are just going to follow us over here and continue the fight. What are they going to do charter a bunch of 747's and come on over?

Cyclops it is not I who is being naive. I truly beleive that terrorist will attact us again here in the USA long before we pull out of Iraq.

As sad and as unfortunate as that is anyone who beleives differently needs to pull their head out of the sand.

Wisevibes, what I am getting at is the President is selling fear rather than solutions.

Is that clear enough.

I think the fact that there are at least 10 million people illegally in the US is proof that our borders are not secure. What the devil are you getting at?

To "bia bia": get your head out of the sand. The US was attacked first by the terrorists - remember 9-11?

to answer you "additional comment", I believe the Republicans are trying to make us fearful. They want to control America so they can be a position of power. I don't believe the Republican politicians really care about our freedom, or the average person's life. If they really cared about the average person here in America or elsewhere, they would have been more careful involving us in a land war in Asia. The average guy who votes for them is being duped.

But, the Democrats, if in the same position of complete power as the Republicans have been in for 6 years, were to forget (and some of them will), they would need to be contained as well...power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The Republicans support big business and nationalism, the Democrats are blue collar for the most part...both need a voice, but if you are born to middle class, you should support blue collar politicians.

Your theories suck..... And with our troops still in Iraq, there wont be another attack. For the first time in a long time, we have a Pres. who is doing right for this Country. And I could care less, whether you agree with my statement, thats just the way it is!

You are a "doom & gloom" type of peson, sucks to be you!

I cant tell you what is in his head because I am not a mind reader, but it would be a short sentence......I think he means keep their attention in another spot and it lessens the chance for them to decide to hit us in our backyard so to speak....silly but it depends if the extremists can walk and chew gum at the same time...

Wisevibe, if what you say is true, then why hasn't Bush done squat about the border issue since 9/11? Is that Clinton's fault to?

All Bush is doing is sellling and promoting fear, It's quite obvious.

Bush has created more terrorists by his unjust war. People who could have cared less what the US did before now want to destroy us. Way to fight terror. Not. Go Bush.
