Mexico has a radical idea for a rational immigration policy that most Americans would love. However, Mexican officials haven’t been sharing that idea with us
Mexico, which annually deports more illegal aliens than the United States does, has much to teach us about how it handles the immigration issue. Under Mexican law, it is a FELONY to be an illegal alien in Mexico
The Mexican constitution strictly defines the rights of citizens – and the denial of many fundamental rights to non-citizens, illegal and illegal. Under the constitution, the Ley General de Población, or General Law on Population, spells out specifically the country’s immigration policy.
If the United States adopted such statutes, Mexico no doubt would denounce it as a manifestation of American racism and bigotry.

They've definately got a major double standard.
Their immigration laws ROCK! If only ours could be applied like that. If we tried going to Mexico and pulling these stunts the illegal aliens are doing here -- we'd be killed or put in prison.
You're right about the Mexican people thinking we're fascist/bigots/racists if we don't just let them walk over here with a free ticket..
And now that we're building a fence to somewhat put a slow on illegals crossing the border - - they wanted to take it to the UN because MEXICO doesn't think we are allowed to have it on our own soil.. They're out of their minds!.. Other than the fact that they strictly enforce their immigration laws.

Mexican Bandido......says to learn the Mexican way of immigration, we tried, that is what the marches were about when a congressmen tried to pass a bill saying it would be a felony to be here illegally, but the Mexican activests and the Mexican Bandido had their mouth stretched over it, and we were called racists. but if Mexico has it as law its all right, Mexican Bandido make up your mind. If the Mexicans have the law it's ok, if the Americans want the law were racists.

By making increasing demands that the U.S. not enforce its immigration laws and, indeed, that it liberalize them, Mexico is throwing stones within its own glass house. Mexican immigration has double standards, the Mexican constitution's protections against immigrants, and concludes with some questions about U.S. policy. In brief, the Mexican Constitution states that:
- Immigrants and foreign visitors are banned from public political discourse.
- Immigrants and foreigners are denied certain basic property rights.
- Immigrants are denied equal employment rights.
- Immigrants and naturalized citizens will never be treated as real Mexican citizens.
- Immigrants and naturalized citizens are not to be trusted in public service.
- Immigrants and naturalized citizens may never become members of the clergy.
- Private citizens may make citizens arrests of lawbreakers (i.e., illegal immigrants) and hand them to the authorities.
- Immigrants may be expelled from Mexico for any reason and without due process.
The Mexican constitution: Unfriendly to immigrants The Mexican constitution expressly forbids non-citizens to participate in the country's political life. Non-citizens are forbidden to participate in demonstrations or express opinions in public about domestic politics. By making increasing demands that the U.S. not enforce its immigration laws and, indeed, that it liberalize them, Mexico is throwing stones within its own glass house.Mexican immigration double standards, that being the Mexican constitution's protections against immigrants, and concludes with some serious questions about U.S. policy.
According to Article 33, "the Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action."
The United States should impose the same restrictions on Mexican immigrants that Mexico imposes on American immigrants.
Since Mexican political leaders from the ruling party and the opposition have been demanding that the United States ignore, alter or abolish its own immigration laws, they have opened their own internal affairs to American scrutiny. The time has come to examine Mexico's own glass house.

They also prohibit even legal foreign residents from any political marches or gatherings.
I don't think the Mexican Bandito is quite grasping your point.
