A new immigration bill that should please all.

Any person crossing the border should be given automactilly the same rights as Americans. In fact lets give up some of our rights so they can have a better life. They will automaticlly be given acess to all human resources. And thier children will have the best education the American tax payer dollars can afford. The Americans will work more hours and pay more taxes to pay for the added expensises. They will never be convicted of any crimminal charges because the Americans will gladly take thier place. Americans love the illegals becuase they will work when we dont want to. So what if we starve and our kids dont get a education. We dont really need all that medical care. We are good people who will give up anything for the Ilegal immigrant who comes here so they can have a better live. God Bless America...Dont you think this will be the best soloution for solving the problem ? Can I have my cookie now cuz I have changed.

so after 9/11, we leave our search for Osama and invade Iraq on the basis that they have nuclear weapons. we get there, now where is the nuclear weapons? exactly, and were still there on the basis that we are fighting the war on terrorism which is the same crap Bush feeds everyone all day long, so if were fighting the war on terror, we should remove Bush because hes the real terrorist behind the deaths of innocent people. deaths are a casualty of war and i agree with that, but of a pointless and morally wrong war is something which i can never forgive, some of my friends came back from Iraq, and the stories they tell me, of how they are commanded to kill innocent civilians which are suspected of being suicide bombers and which are nothing more than civilians. the Bush administration can go *** themselves for everything they've done, and the hilarious thing is that we make such a big deal about clinton's infidelity, what about bush's hypocritical war on terror?

My friend was sitting at a red light, motorcycle cop pulled up behind. Started eyeing registration tags and called them in apparently. Pulled my friend over, said he stopped him for windshield but then saw expired tags. Asked my friend to show registration, insurance and driver's license. Friend was driving a truck that didn't belong to him - it's one of his worker's. So he opens the glove and console - no registration, no insurance papers. His own driver's license is expired by 1 month (not it's not ok - he's not taken the time to do it, you know how that goes). This expired license is also out of state (we're in California). Cop then told friend to get out of car, cuffed him, sat him on curb. Truck was impounded. Friend's bail was $3,000. My question: Is this the norm for a situation like this, spending the afternoon in jail and bail like that? What happens now? Doesn't this worker have to pay anything? It wasn't his truck, and he wasn't told by the owner.

What I mean is why kill and fight over something we could share or trade for? What ever happened to freedom of trade? Why have war when instead we could build the American dream we all came to America for? I thought the dream was about "Freedom" for all countries. No wars, freedom to rome the World and to make it a better place to live in. No fears of just being a slave of a number. Freedom to share, freedom to live are dreams. But everything takes money. Its not like we are happy when we could work the same job and someone gets paid more than us and they just started? Is that fair? What would we be living like if there was no such thing as money? We would be trading or working together in oder to survive. That is if we acted civilized.

Croats, Serbs and Bosnians aside... what I really want to know was basically, was it a Christian/Muslim war and if so, who copped the biggest walloping?
An overly simplistic question, I know but I just need to understand the situation from a Croatian Orthodox Catholic's viewpoint...and why my muslim boyfriend would not be welcome at their daughter's wedding...? (he's not even from that part of the world). Are we talking basic bigotry here or is it overflow from the war?
..I didn't read the papers/ watch the news much during the 90's due to being a self absorbed teenager.
