The issue is the age at which you had sex. The answer depends on where you live (which you didn't mention). But most likely, no, due to the closeness in your ages.

The age of consent varies by state. In some states, it is 16 and others it is 18. Some states also put an emphasis on how big the age difference is between the two individuals. There is no "one size fits all" answer to this question, so the answers you receive in this forum are all speculation unless you disclose where the act took place.

It varies a lot by state. You shouldn't have a problem though. You were both minors at the time of conception.

Not to mention you're both extremely close in age. Even if you had been 18 and 17, a lot of judges would throw it out.

You have to look at your specific state law, but in many cases they have an allowed gap so that people of similiar age don't get caught up in a statutory rape crime. For instance in Tennessee, you'd be fine. We have a 4 year period. So you'd have to be 16 and he'd have to be 20 or 21 beofre he's be liable for statutory rape. I'm sure it is like this in most states. Think about how many 18 year olds are dating 17 year olds. Only makes sense.

No because he was under 18 when the sexual act took place. But if you are continuing to have sex when he is 18 & you are 17, than he could. But I hope he does not because the sex was wanted by both partners so it would be unfair for him to get in trouble.

By law, it is statuatory rape when an adult is more than 3 years older than the minor. So if you were 16, than he would've had to be 19 to get into trouble. If there is more than a 3 year difference, then your boyfriend could've been in trouble. But your safe.

Lawfully speaking, the answer is no. The sexual encounter was acted out while both of you were underage. If your parents try to press charges and he has a good lawyer, they will get embarassed in court. I suggest that you and your boyfriend play it cool for a little while and don't try to run off anytime soon together. That would only agitate the issue. - Hank

It depends on your state.

If the age of consent is 16, you both are fine.

If the age of consent is 18, then you might get into trouble.

The issue is the sex, not the baby.

No because y'all was knockin boots when you were both minors. But if y'all still doing it and you're parents can press charges against him...but if they are ok with it, you can still hop on you're good foot and do that bad thing
