I have not heard this term until the Mr. Foley scandal. I am getting a little older and don't know the terms of the electronic world we live in. For me to totally understand what the scandal is all about I really should know what a "page" is.
Thanks

It was they only who soft pedalled and handed over the 3 terrorists Masood Azhar,Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar & Sheikh Ahmed Omar Saeed in December 1999 at Kandahar. One of them only Masood Azhar masterminded the Parliament attack in December 2001. Memory of people is short but not so short.

Have folks noticed that this 'delay' and closed-mouthedness is getting worse lately? We get a little notice on say a Sunday that 5 marines died today, a couple yesterday, and a couple on Friday...we don't hear from what or where precisely?
This excerpt from the W.Post, for example :
"Attacks against the coalition have definitely increased as . . . the enemy is trying to come in and reestablish themselves" in a dozen religiously divided districts in east and west Baghdad, said Lt. Col. Jonathan Withington, a spokesman for the U.S. military command in the city. "There's a lot of weapons in Baghdad," contributing to an increase in enemy attacks using small arms, he said.

Withington said he was not authorized to release the number of U.S. military personnel wounded in Baghdad or the number of attacks in the city, although the military has released such data in the past. "
The newsfolks have to go to independent analyst groups trying to track the casualties and situations?
WHY?

I hate hearing/reading about the same old excuses when people(mostly, morons who have nothing better to do) whine about immigrants are stealing jobs, can't speak a damn word of english, they are racist, yada yada yada BS!!!
Have you ever thought about how hard it was in their country? NO!!! Because YOU, yes, YOU never had to farm, get tortured(physically/mentally) through the government, starve til death of hunger, go through lack of education, and other WORSE possibilities! Why do you always have to think about yourself? Selfish much? You are lucky to have a roof over your heads! So why the hell do you think you have the right to complain about immigrants and their hardships especially if the government is letting them stay? Where the hell do you think your vegetables, fruits, meat come from? Without immigrants you would starve your pathetic self to death! Do you think you have the capability to farm your own food, sew your own clothes, build your own shelter? NO, didn't think so!

When I ask people at work, school and even have political discussions with people in general no one has ever heard of the Bohemian Grove, the Bilderbergs, Council on Foreign Relations or the Trilateral Commission. I have heard people say you are some kind of "conspiracy theorist" if you even want to discuss these groups and their influence on American politics and policy. Since their membership lists contain Presidents(from both parties), political leaders, media figures and heads of multi-billion dollar corporations shouldnt there be some type of dialoge in the press about this so at least the average person knows enough to formulate their own opinion. I would like to hear from people on all sides of the political spectrum. Why this lack of open discussion in the media, in school, in general? If there is no conspiracy or any hidden power manipulation why the strict policy of silence this is America we should NOT be ruled by secret

do you vote for things (remember, this is locally and only pertains to things inside your city or precinct) do you vote on issues if they help you, but hurt the overall good, or do you vote on the issues that hurt you, but help the overall good? I know this question is a little vague, but thanks for your answers.

As an American, I feel that it is our duty to stop the genocide that is plagueing Darfur. However, I don't think we will be able to go in there and stop it because the entire world is mad at us for being at war already. (IM PRO WAR IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN)This means that we will do nothing and let hundreds of thousands be killed by fanatical muslims(surprise suprise) because the world doesnt want the US military to flex its muscles. This means that a European nation must step in and take care of the job but which one? Is there a European nation or a coalition of European nations that has the military might to stop the genocide. I really dont think so.

even though he can't swim, shouldn't the president make sure his means of torture will be effective?

perhaps we could make the supreme commander in chief listen to the Dixie Chicks for 72 hours, do you think this would crack Bush?

My husband has 4 kids. Two of them are not his. His exwife put his last name on the kids when they were separated but not legally divorced. They were separated 8 yrs and got divorced after that. He did not signed them but since they were legally married they have his last name. Those kids are not living with him because they don't want to. they want to stay with his grandma (not blood related but she was taking care of them). My question, does he has to pay child support for those years they were living with their grandma and still are? We live in TX, somebody told me that he has to pay but only from two years back. He want to make a blood test to demostrate he is not the dad but I don't want him to do that. That will be hard for the kids they are only 14 and 13. Please give me a good legal advide.

Am I wrong in thinking that if a Mexican comes to the U.S. (illegally)they shouldn't complain? I'm Mexican-American but I'm sick of hearing Mexican singers complain of being mistreated and cheated out of wages. I know they need the money, and I know that they have families, but if it were really important they would make efforts as soon as they got here. Like learn basic english and pay for a "Permiso"(somthing like a temp. green card for work). They know the risks they have in coming to America and they still come. So am I wrong?

My wife and I were smoking last night on the couch. She got up and went to bed and I fell asleep. I was awakened a couple hours later because the couch and curtains were on fire and the smoke alarm was going off. I got my kids up and my wife out and we stood outside and watched all our stuff go up in flames. I know I dropped the roach down in th sofa when I fell asleep. I imagine it was burnt completely. Will the fire investigators find any trace of it and this cause my insurance not to pay?

Apparently this past tenent (of our apartment) did not send a change of address form. I know I won't have to serve for them but I'm curious about what people do in this situation. Are you suppose to call the court? Just igore it? Also, if the police really come and you have to prove you're not this person.

Why is it every time we talk about "torture" down at Club Gitmo (see links 1 and 2) Democrats reference the Constitution?

Has someone yet to tell them that the Constitution is for United States citizens and not terrorists?

I am not against all illegal immigrants. those that have come here legally should be allowed to stay. those that we know are undocumented are the ones I have a problem with. if the government offered one thousand dollars to anyone who turned in illegal immigrants would you sign up? but wait, they might want that free money too so they might turn each other in.lol
