My mom was in Hospice before she passed. Hospice
is the best for what they are allowed to do by law. When
Mom went there we knew she was never coming home.
My sister and I sat with her day after day. When they could not find a vein to give her fluids, all they could do was give her comfort from pain. She went 12 days
without food or water, before she died. Why can they not help someone to die with dignity.
We can take our animals and have them put to sleep.
That is not against the law. Why not the people we love with all of our being. Unless you have sat with someone you love, and watched them die right in front of you.
You will never understand the meaning of letting them go to sleep with peace.
