Apparently this past tenent (of our apartment) did not send a change of address form. I know I won't have to serve for them but I'm curious about what people do in this situation. Are you suppose to call the court? Just igore it? Also, if the police really come and you have to prove you're not this person.

Send it back to the court (there is an address there for instances such as this), with a letter explaining that the tenant has moved on, leaving no forwarding address.

I had to go through this myself four years ago, when my Mom received a jury summons, two years after her death. I sent it back with a copy of her death certificate, and heard nothing else from them.

Jury accountability is something every person has to bypass by a minimum of as at as quickly as as. rather happen, and your matters are solved.
