As a former republican and a Christian, I am very disappointed with the republican party.....

For all the people here disagreeing, I say that the nation of Israel were wandering aliens most of there lives, and yet God chose them as his people.....

God doesn't see borders and see all men/women as equal, no one is illegal.....

As far as obeying laws, NOT all laws are God ordained....Take slavery and abortion, you think God sanctioned those laws? NO.....

And one last thing, Jesus, Mary and Joseph were in fact refugees/aliens themselves going to Egypt, fleeing an evil King seeking to kill Jesus.....

This Christian will NOT be voting for anti illegal republican candidates.....

I understand the place you're coming from. yet, those unkind Christians on Yahoo solutions do no longer characterize Christianity as an entire. maximum Christians in actual existence are lots extra compassionate than Christians on the information superhighway. So, i propose you to take the insults of digital Christians with a grain of salt. on the different hand, Yahoo solutions isn't the situation for a suicidal sufferer to be finding for help. it truly is the internet. Derision and non-civility are to be predicted here. it quite is lots wiser to pass to a qualified counselor or psychologist. As for Christians helping a guy who killed an abortion well being care expert, back, they only make up a small minority of the Christian inhabitants. Christian doctrine does not condone the abhorrent movements of that guy or his supporters. maximum Christians are as outraged approximately this homicide as any rational guy or woman could be. As Christians, we've a accountability to set a competent occasion of what it quite potential to be a disciple of Christ and that i'm sorry which you have have been given been uncovered to 3 Christians who did no longer uphold that legal accountability.

There is no lacking of compassion for either the Republicans and Democrats, otherwise we will not have a 12 million or so illegal immigrants living in the US. The ability of making sensible decision does not make you devoid of compassion. This one will vote for the party with the more unsympathetic common sense. The distressful circumstance of illegal immigrants is brought upon by illegals to themselves and by their own country.

You mean legal immigrants? I didn't know they had a problem with them.
I have a problem with people who enter our country and are supported by the taxes paid by those of us who work. I have a problem with those in our country who live on-the-dole for no legitimate reason. I have a very big problem with illegals, someone who breaks the law is demonstrating they have no respect for our laws. We have enough citizens with that problem.
I live in an area that is very populated by clearly recent immigrants, I see rampant littering, vandalism, auto theft, graffiti, dangerous driving and no observation of pedestrian laws (or common sense for that matter). The area has changed with the influx and I'm not happy with it. Out neighborhood is looking like the third world slums so many of these immigrants left. I do have compassion for their struggles, I wish no one could go hungry in this world or go without medical care.
But I don't want them to take me down with them. My taxes go to educate the children that are vandalizing the schools and for free medical care, food stamps, (etc.) I can't afford medical insurance anymore. My taxes keep increasing and the dependent immigrants and illegal immigrant crime are part of the reason. I think we need a big fence, a legal process for workers and standards of responsibility like so many other countries have. I can't speak for the Christians, but the standards they hold as ideals are good ones. And their decisions may be based on experience like mine are.

lack of compassion towards immigrants? Are you kidding? Legal immigrants are welcomed with open arms by republicans. I think you are referring to illegal aliens which is a much different thing all together. Christians will still vote for republicans cause what is the alternative? Wack job Libs that want to kill unborn innocent babies but protect physco killers on death row. Tough choice. Not!!!!!

Lots of Christians are Republicans.

What do you think of the lack of respect for laws of the land on the part of Christians? Or coming illegally even when it is clear the excess illegal burden is ruining schools and health care for the people who are paying for it? Where is the compassion for OUR children? Why do only children of illegal immigrants matter in your eyes?

Only liberals have compassion for illegal immigrants. So what your saying is, your a christian with immoral democratic values right? You embrace abortion, drug use, removing the ten commandments from public places, Hmmmm, that doesnt sound very christian!

How do you feel about Christians (many illegals) breaking the laws to come into this country, stealing Social Security numbers, raping, and murdering? Don't play the religion card, especially with all of the crimes being committed by illegal aliens.

I think you don't make a difference between "immigrants" and "illegal aliens".
Immigrants are people who entered the US legally, who respect our laws and our borders, who are honest and moral , who wait their turn to immigrate legally, and who are "christians".
I believe republicans, and all Americans have compassion for those legal immigrants.

I believe illegal aliens, who disrespect our laws and our border, who are criminals who break one law after another after they get here because they think they are better than US citizens and they don't have to obey any laws, who jump across the border like pigs who think they don't have to wait their turn, who are liars and thieves, dishonest and immoral, don't deserve any respect or any compassion.

Next time differentiate, make it clear if you are referring to REAL immigrants (legal), or ILLEGAL ALIENS.

You may be surprised to discover that Republicans each have their OWN brain, and they have their own individual thoughts! I don't know any Republicans who don't have compassion for the immigrants. Gee, ya think maybe that's why no one enforces the damned law?
