who Yes. Employers should make sure that their workers are here legally. Of course if they don't want to pay the minimum wage they use illegals for maximum profit and to skirt the law. There should be stiff fines for hiring illegals. I am a naturalized citizen. I have lived and worked here for 50 years. I love this country and entered legally. It took a few years before I could enter. I had interviews at the American Embassy and physical and mental evaluations before I got my visa. Once I was here I had to follow all laws & fill in an application every year for 5 years letting the emmigration service know where I was. Every time i applied for a job I had to prove that I was a citizen by producing my papers. However, in the past 12 years or so no proof has been needed. I do believe it is due to the fact that it is "no big deal" if you are caught with illigal employees, the fines are negligable. You can make more money by hiring them at very low wages. However it does take jobs away from Americans who need them and demand the minimum wage which is NOTHING. It seems that there is little or no enforcement of laws anymore which is causing this illigel problem.

Get my country back? Better start with the higher ups, they have stolen wwwaaaaayyyyy more than any illegals could possibly, collectively steal, eat, consume or undermine. No this website will not educate the problem. You cant educate a problem, people are aware of "the problem" but this website and others will keep the conversation going until collectively we arrive at what is fair and just for all concerned.

I don't think it is a matter of education. There has been plenty of that on the Net. What is needed now is some Positive Action on the part of the American People. Elections are coming up soon, it is time to let congress know who is voting.

Probably not as most already have their minds made up!

Though it was well written, it was comparing apples and oranges! Nice political piece though!

Look, the only people I know who are FOR illegal immigration is those that hire them at slave labor wages and they are almost always Republicans! It is against the law to hire them! So stop hiring them and save us, not you, a lot of money!

The only thing that will help is our politicians growing a working set and than using them to do whats right for America, not their wallets

I can tell you that I won't visit the site simply because the name of it says it all. You need to educate yourself about the issue, I will guess you have no clue about the Act of 1986 Congress passed, right? No, didn't think so. Try educating yourself with facts, not prejudices.

I continue to be amazed at the simpletons supporting illegals and how they still use the same old weak arguments that have been beaten out long ago. Bring some new material to the table. My ancestors came here 150 years ago.....Some were always here being 25% Black Foot Indian.

More than enough Americans know about the problem. We need politicans with a spine to do something about it.
