Bush is ignorant but he is not stupid. There is a way he can LEGALLY stay in the Presidency. I would have to go through the Constitution to cite exactly what it says but we did this project in one of the classes i took as an undergrad in a political science class. If, in a time of "protracted" warfare, it is judged to be in the best interest of the nation (I do believe the legislative and judicial branches have to both agree but again, I would have to look it up and right now don't have the Constitution handy and hate reading online!) the current sitting President can extend his term as President until such time that the War has ended and threat has passed. I do believe it is in the section dealing with the President and his/her election and powers.
You have to look hard to find it because it is a blurb of information about three sentences or so long but it IS A LEGAL way for a sitting President to ignore the XXII Amendment.
I doubt that Bush has that kind of support though.
although i do think the idea of him trying to be a dictator is not to far fetched. we are going to end up like many other countries. We might as well turn into a Constitutional Monarchy and just go with it. I mean..the Bush family seems to have a monarchy started already anyways...it is similar to the Kennedy's overall political pressence.

Bush won't be in the upcoming November election. And when we vote for our next President in 2008, no one will be able to vote for George Bush then either. There is a limit of two 4-year terms for the Presidency. He's had two terms and his time limit is up.
So...I recommend you do your homework and find out who is really running.

George "Dubya" Bush is term-limit. He cannot run in the next Presidential election.
His father, George HW Bush (Bush 41) is not likely to run again due to age.
Dubya's brother, on the other hand, can indeed run. Boy, wouldn't that p*ss off a few people?

Since Bush has already served two terms, he cannot constitutionally serve a third term. Perhaps some of your right wingers should read the constitution once in awhile, that might help keep you guys from continuously violating it...

He is done with his maximum of two terms, unless Jeb Bush changes his name to George than I don't think, fortunately, that we will see another George Bush. Phew...

Watch out people if "martial law" is served by US president George W. Bush for reasons of another terror attack? he will be in his seat for a long time to cover-up WTC.

He cant run again at least not in this country. It's a little thing we call term limits. Even so I'd rather have a root canal without Novocaine than have that s o b in office.

Well come on now, don't you think 8 years is more than enough. Even the average cabinet only last the first 3.5 years. Change can be a very good thing.
