The Commanding Officer has all subordinate officers gather for a social function, usually the Officers Club.

It is as often as every Friday at some places. All of the officers on post go to the officers club for a couple hours on some Fridays in order to ensure they get out of work early on Friday. Wives are allowed to attend, but most don't. Dress is as you are already. It is a fun way to blow off steam.
