Absentee voting allows you to make a copy of your vote but you have no way of knowing if it accurately is included in your county or state results! There for public posting of your original ballot is a must. No more secretcy because this is the first stage of never being able to verifing votes! Allowing the insiders to continue on cheating!

and other employees and their conduct. They say this has created a negative working environment in which several staff have complained.(althought I am an acting area manager in charge of only 5 staff ??) I feel this is some kind of get of jail free card to deny me the promised promotion and also demote me /force me into resigning. Am I entitled to see written evidence of said staff ?and if so what are the proper disciolinary procedures ? I have seen this happen to another colleague but he simply resigned and found another job. I will eventually do the same but do not want to be taken for a mug. Any ideas on the proper procedures i.e. I have recieved a typed statement through the post regarding this but have just be sent a text message !! from my immediate regional manager to attend a disciplinary meeting tomorrow ?????

Hello!
I'm considering taking a job as an armed security guard to scrape together enough cash to go back to school. I'm familiar with firearms, the different actions, and calibers. However, I wanted some more imput from everyone out there. What would you choose as your preferred sidearm as a security guard? I've ruled out the .50AE Desert Eagle due to weight and over-penetration issues so don't go there. Here is what I have given serious consideration to:
Ruger GP 101 .357 Magnum
Berestta 92f (9mm) OR 96f (.40 S&W)
Glock 17 (9mm) or 22 (.40 S&W)
some 1911-style

I thought of the wheel gun because of it's reliability and simplicity of usage, though I've shot all of the other guns mentioned here.
I'm somewhat concerned with the 9mm round though. Do you think that this is still an effective man-stopper, or should I concentrate on a .40 S&W on up? Any other suggestions welcomed. Later!

It seems like this wasn't the worlds best kept secret....so, isn't holding the info until weeks before an election, just as bad, as not telling because you want to hold a seat? If "putting the safety of the "child" is th issue....

This isn't on just one party's hands. . .but at LEAST the Republicans won't be supporting Foley for another run.

Also, I don't think Bush will give him a pardon like Clinton did for the guy who had sex with an underage campaign volunteer.

Judges, DA's, and Public Defenders are all salaried employees of their respective jurisdictions. If the Murderer has his own attorney than it's their responsibility to pay their attorney. So, how can it cost more to kill them than to keep them alive and provide them all the things they want for the rest of their lives???

Do you think it's time for a change or does our country continue down this path of letting the GOP run the show. Remember, they, the Republicans can try and demonize the Dems all they want, but The Republicans control ALL 3 BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT.

I can't quite figure this out. If you agree with illegal immigration then you are the "it" and everything you write must be the god awful truth. But if you Disagree with illegal immigration and you think they should all be sent back home then you are a "Racist" and everything you write has to be bad. And lord help you if your white. Im proud of my Redneck heritage. Just because your proud of who you are dosent make you a bad person. This is a place to write your views and have a lil fun in the process. Why dont some just chill a bit and dont take everything so damn personal. Lets just have one big ole party. Who wants to be my date? lol

I am using the words "passive" and "active" for lack of better words.

I define passive national security as spending the money at home to improve: airline security, Coast Guard resources, border control, intelligence, etc.

I define active security to mean sending troops overseas to actively root out and destroy terrorist cells in other countries before they have a chance to infiltrate our coutry's borders.

As always, there is only so much money to go around. Which do you feel is more effective?

To me, it seems like spending money at home will keep more money here, while being more efficient (fuel and other resource costs increase as we move elsewhere) and creating more jobs. It would also reduce casualties in other countries (both U.S. and foreign).

So far, I believe we have spent 500 bil on the war and have doubled the casualties that were lost in 9/11. Am I missing anything?

that islam has to cross before everyone agrees that it is finally time to take the gun out and put the dog down....

Obviously, killing 3000 americans IN AMERICA isn't the line.
Is killing your friends the line?
Your parents?
your children?
where is the line that ISN"T okay for them to cross?
Where does the PEACE crowd finally stand up and say ENOUGH?
IS there such an act that would bring an appropriate reaction from the PEACE crowd?
Or would they sooner die than defend themselves?
