Absentee voting allows you to make a copy of your vote but you have no way of knowing if it accurately is included in your county or state results! There for public posting of your original ballot is a must. No more secretcy because this is the first stage of never being able to verifing votes! Allowing the insiders to continue on cheating!

You are right to be concerned! US voting doesn't meet international standards. Banana republics and oil monarchies have systems less vulnerable to fraud!

Even worse are the new computerized voting systems that don't even produce a paper trail. Republicans argue that all systems are subject to tampering and fraud, thus paper or no paper it doesn't matter! They have won this argument in many districts where they have partisan control of election commissions and authorities. Of course, thousands of votes can be changed with just a keystroke or two. Absentee ballots are a minority of votes cast, but in the 2000 and 2004 elections, I heard discussion that they are sometimes not even counted at all if it appears that they will not determine the outcome!

Robert Kennedy Jr. has an article or two on line that discuss all of these issues, and Jimmy Carter has at least one on monitoring voting in other countries.

Perhaps this is true but NOT voting definitely is a vote against your favorite candidates and issues.

possibly it could be a extra perfect equipment if we held the elections like the international sequence. we've an election once per week for seven weeks, and the winner has to win 4 out of seven ballet elections.it could be a lot extra exciting, i imagine.

The fact that our president is a retard is proof that our votes don't count.
