I can't quite figure this out. If you agree with illegal immigration then you are the "it" and everything you write must be the god awful truth. But if you Disagree with illegal immigration and you think they should all be sent back home then you are a "Racist" and everything you write has to be bad. And lord help you if your white. Im proud of my Redneck heritage. Just because your proud of who you are dosent make you a bad person. This is a place to write your views and have a lil fun in the process. Why dont some just chill a bit and dont take everything so damn personal. Lets just have one big ole party. Who wants to be my date? lol

Hey Devil. You know for a fact that you and I have different views. I respect your view. I also would like to thank you for being a pleasant person to spar with. I have found you to be highly respectful in your dealings with anyone who has a different opinion than you. Thanks.

immigration is just one of those issues that touches a nerve. The defense goes something like this, "They (illigals) are only doing the jobs that Americans won'T do." That's a cop out. Americans would be out there doing these jobs if they paid better and offered some benefits. At the same time, the illegals are hard working people, and the majority have too much self pride that they will not go and ask for aid or financial assisstance. I know, because i'm first generation American. You are not a racist if you think they should send them back, but let's be reasonable, some of these people, and they are people, are contributing members of society and have some roots here. There is no easy solution to this issue.

This is a very good point, every other race is allowed to be a little "racist", but God help you if you're white and you act racist at all. So just because your ancestors were treated wrong a couple hundred years ago, now you should be allowed to act like a bunch of sh**s?! We never made your great-great-granny make our beds, we never forfced the Chinese into concentration camps during World War II......the closest any of us have to come it was reading about it in our history books. So GROW UP PEOPLE.

Illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple. There is nothing racist about saying that ILLEGAL is ILLEGAL, it is a fact and nothing more. It is easy to term it as "racist" because it is the only weapon they really have, they know it is wro0ng and they can't twist around any other way than to say it is "Racist." SO let them drown in their own wrong-doings, and keep speaking up about how you feel. If enough people start to talk out against it and execrise their right to free speech, the voice will become loud and strong. EVERY voice counts.

Not everything has to be fun and party. This is a place where you can share and learn. Learn that your idea is not the only one, and that you might be wrong from time to time, or you might have forgotten a few details that make your solution to an problem not really efficient. One cannot know everything, I see this as a place where I can get a lot of different views and it only makes me wiser. I love this place, and if it reaches further then your brain capacity then try another topic.

For most that aren't really affected by the influx of illegals as we are here in the border states, I can agree to them its only a game or a way to get away with racists remarks and that's from both sides of the issue. Its does get really serious on here because it is a very serious subject. But I agree it can get awfully race related and it shouldn't but people love to play the hate /race card.

i cant be your date,I'm married and I don't like girls
well at least not to date one,but some of my best friends are women.lol Does that help?.

Kevin ...in my world the people tell the elected officials what to do, not the other way around.....

I know what you mean, people shouldn't take it so personal -- these are just electronic opinions. But some of the solutions that people talk about are pretty draconian. And racist epithets fly back and forth.

There's a middle ground of figuring out how to limit illegal immigration (it's never gonna be eliminated, sorry) while treating other people fairly. Our fearless leader is trying now, but he's let this go on too long, and he's not proposing to attack the problem at its real source -- the addiction of employers to cheap labor.

I love to B-B-Q, drive a 4 x 4 Monster truck and love long slow romantic drives in my John Deere tractor while David Allen Coe serenades sing softly on the 'ol 8 track.
Born and raised in Texas and would love to escort a fine young lady such as yourself to the biggo party.

Just holla!

GET RID OF ALL THE BEANERS, I dont care if people call me racist, I am not I have nothing against LEGAL MEXICANS OR HISPANICS I AM ONE, what I do have a problem with is with ILLEGALS trying to come to this country and act like they deserve and have all rights that we as US citizens have.

When someone writes that they want the illegals to "go back home" or go back to your country" they don't just stop there. You keep reading and then you see the epithets and slurs being used, and that i think is not necessary when you want to make a point come across.

The majority of us don't agree, that is the point. The racial slurs and mudslinging don't help either side. Some people are filled with venom. We are all just people at the end of the day.
