There are no dining chairs, no curtains in the living room, no chairs and table in the balkony, the carpets are filthy, no blankets or pillows.... there is nothing except a sofa, seat and a bed... the landlord said that I should haved for those things before I've rented the flat, and now I have no right to ask for any thing more...

I've just moved in 18 days ago..

Today, I found out that my twenty-six year old daughter is a liberal. I was horrified. She spouts crap like "equal rights for gays," "But it's the mothers body! (on abortion)" and "healthcare is a right, not a privelege."

I am looking for someone to tell me how I can reeducate my daughter to come to compassionate conservativism.

That the Iraqi war is something much larger than ever anticipated. It is like the last stand, if the US fails with Iraq, terrorists will officially have a country with plenty of power. I have no respect for Chavez and I dislike him coming to our country and bashing our country and its leaders. Regardless of political stance it was wrong to do that in the way that he did.
