Where's all the concern about the soldiers that are accused of murder.Does anybody think they deserve the benefit of innocent until proven guilty? That so called hero murtha accused and convicted them b4 they were ever charged!

That Murtha still has any credibility with his constituents is beyond me. His service during Viet Nam may have been commendable, but his recent comments, especially as they relate to the Pendleton 8, is reprehensible. Those who vote in his district ought to throw him out.
These guys deserve the benefit of the doubt. Only after their courts-martial will we know their guilt or innocence. Until then, the politicians especially, ought to keep their traps shut.

Murtha is a nutjob. Since he was an officer, I doubt he really earned any of his medals. Like Kerry all he had to do is write up a report and send it to higher ups. I honestly knew a major that got a silver star for tripping and falling down a hil causing him to shoot himself in the leg. Called in a big enemy action and had everyone fire off their weps while he was on the radio to CQ.

To 'enlightenment': Yes, I remember Vietnam.
I also remember WW2 and wonder what our country would now be like if we had to be "politically correct" back then and had not been allowed to retaliate for fear of "offending" someone. I hate to think of that!
Of course they're innocent until proven guilty! Personally, I think they were only doing their job. This is war!! A different kind of war, but war nonetheless.
