there's lots of talk about some people wanting Oprah to run for president. I think it's a great idea and that she could do a good job. but if she did decide to run (hopefully) do you think she could win? I do.

Now I know that immigration is a touchy subject to people now and I have my views about it too, but the fact is the questions are being asked from concern not digust, Nobody here is a waste of skin (heard that comment recently), Peoples lives are at stake when it comes to how we live here and when you have to learn another language to get a job then people start to get concerned. My question is this Is it better to help those here who cant help themselves or as another young lady stated, try to help other countries like Mexico to live better so they dont want to come here? I think personally we should take care of us

I am 17years old. I plan to run for President of the United States in 20 years, what steps should I go through? Should I join the military, become an attorney?? I would really like some input because I belive a great President should be created by the people, for the people.

Their pay is a joke and the healthcare services for veterans is a joke.........so is this how we in the US support our troops? Buying some magnets and a flag while the troops have to struggle to pay bills and get less than the best medical coverage?

for the constitution, whats the purpose of the preamble? What were the authors trying to say?

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

They're giving me a thirty day notice and I don't have much time left, nor do I have much money, to get a new place. If I use Army Emergency relief it's going to put me in the hole for the next month so I'll be dead broke either month. I'm getting out of the Army soon and I have an outrageous Star card payment over my head as well, with a truck payment that's eating me up that's why I'm selling the truck. Any advice?

As you should know if you have been paying attention, the Republican CIA finally admitted what we should have known for years. The fact of the matter is, Bush's "War on Terror" is failing and making our nation less safe. (So don't make your answer about the war)

Clitoon did his best to deflect any criticism or personal responsibility for 911. What is it with this guy and personal responsibility?

It seems to be an American pasttime to place blame, point the finger and then try to find out why something happens. There are nutcases who think our government did 911.

So if there is a major attack, say a dirty bomb in NYC, LA or DC, who would be responsible? If we had a terrorist leader who knew the plan but we did not interrogate him enough to prevent the attack, who would be at fault?

The Congress?
The Administration?
The Democrats?
The Republicans?

I mean so far since 911 through some very hard work by a lot of people we have been fortunate to not see thousands of innocent people slaughtered, but lets say the security leaks that the NYT publishes help the bad guys. Who would then be responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Americans?
