there is a hellish amount of challlanges with freedom becuase when people have freedom they generally begin to have drastically different opinions from one another and the government is forced to make sure that they are all met with an equal amount of attention, another great problem is a lot of liberal people who take it too far, there has to be a boundary to all freedom since there has to be some control and stability, ex: in vermont public nudity is not illegal and everyone who wants to can walk around naked without anyone being able to do anything about it, the state government said it wpuld take things under control but it didnt the debate dragged on for too long many vermonters want the law out but they are so concerned with not losing their other personal freedoms that they are completely unsure of how to phrase the new law. the other problem with freedom is tat as i said earlier there has to be a balance between freedom and stability as well as security this is where the success of the US and the failture of other nations except for western europe comes out, they have struck that wonderful balance with those three factors resulting in a very high class society where people although have problems these are extremely insignificant when compared to other countries becuase of their standard of living. therefore i think that thew problem with freedom is that there is either to much or too little of it and the solution to the problem is to find that golden zone where there is a balance.
PS i just remembered this thing when in the north Korean liberation army during the time of the japanese ccupation, before the communists came in there was this thing called ultra democracy in the army where everyone no matter the rank had to be consulted about anything and the result was that the generals and officers did not have any control over their men and even the smallest decision had to be voted on this was obviously pathetic and the army soon fell apart

The primary challenge is to maintain civil rights and freedoms as the security agenda ratchets up further and further. The original theorist from which American political structure derives, the Baron de Montesquieu, designed the tripartite government which the U.S. Constitution follows with the intention of this form protecting "freedom" utmost. He explained this in his master work, The Spirit of the Laws. But in the near future security may overtake freedom as the first-order agenda. Our government is not structured for that, but for freedom. That's a problem. The answers lie in the sedulous advancement of human rights. (Too much to explain here.)

Some of the Challenges of freedom are all the choices you are confronted with. You are very free to do pretty much as you please, but making the responsible and correct choice in that you are not infringing on anyone Else's freedoms is the key. This comes with education and maturity.

i have found the biggest issue with freedom is the freedom to have a differing opinion. the problem comes when those who disagree don't like the fact that you have the freedom to do so. they then believe they have the freedom to take you freedom away.
we have all been persecuted for it and guilty of the same persecution (i am no exception) and we need to stop. we also have freedom to learn and respect others.
