I was born in the USA but my parents came here illegaly. Now they are citizens of this country, they vote, and have the same rights as a regular American does.

I am now working as a community helper to give shelter to those homeless people out in the streets, the half of the money ($150,000 yearly) comes from my dad's restaurants.

88% of the homeless people who we pick up are American and Veterans of the 70's war. What would you say about this? Would you consider a good to the American society? The money comes from my parent's life long struggle to have a btter quality life.

I just want to say, that if my parents would have never come to this country, I wouldn't be studying to become a Doctor, and maybe those homeless fellows would still be out in the streets dying of hunger and cold.

I just want people to understand that illegals don't come here to harm, most of them come here to better quality life. Coming to the USA seems to be the easiest option to most of them.

"If Davidson County secures entry into the federal Delegation of Authority immigration program, the Sheriff’s Office could identify and deport as many as 3,000 illegal immigrants each year, according to a compilation of figures from Nashville and Charlotte – the last U.S. city to enter into the program.

The estimated 3,000 stands in stark contrast to the 151 foreign-born arrestees who were ordered detained by the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last year, and the typical 100 or so who were similarly detained in past years when the federal government was the only agency enforcing immigration policies."

Sure, fun people is a big thing ... but sometimes it's worth putting up even with flaming.

What makes a good forum? Answers that are "right"? Answers that are sorta fun?

How about answers that turn into conversations ... or, a little more serious, discussions.

I have my own idea ... I'm wondering what y'all think. (I don't want to get it wrong! *grin*)

I have heard through gossip (because I am currently residing in India) that gas prices are lower in America now because of the Republicans trying to win the elections again this Novermber. My question is how many of you think the gas prices will shoot straight back up as soon as elections are over?

"COLUMBUS JCT., Iowa — Low math test scores by its eighth–grade English Limited Language, or ELL, subgroup has placed the Columbus Middle School on the federal Schools In Need of Assistance list, school board members learned.

Officials said the school hopes to prevent sanctions under the federal No Child Left Behind legislation by providing extra help for math students during the day, strengthening the English as a Second Language, or ESL, program at the middle school, implementing the “Power of I” program, supporting an advisor/advisee program for all middle school students and especially those in the ELL program, implementing the Connected Math Series for 6th-8th grades, increasing student expectations, lesson rigor and relevance, boosting administrative oversight with walk-throughs and maintaining high visibility."

Note that there is no mention of extra funding for all of this extra focus on the English learner students, it will have to be drawn from other programs.

Did you know that most terrorists in this country are latino.?..part of drug mafia groups from Mexico, Columbia, and Peru. Most leaders of South American nations are highly connected to the Mob. Nobody ever talks about these groups. They are the only ones with real power in Central America

Could he put Iran, Korea, and any other hot spot, in its place? He was a military genius, there's no denying it, with all the countries he conquered in Europe. When the terriorists hear Hitler telling them to cease fire and lay down their weapons, they don't why, they ask, where!

We are pretty much in the ends of time as we know it. Our enemies in the world are arming themselves with nuclear capability.

It is only a matter of time before our enemies start hitting the united states from within. The police aren't even after our real enemies. The cops are after Americans for smoking marijuana and speeding.

But bottom line is, what will you do when the bombs start hitting and there is nuclear holocaust and you have roaming bands of renegade police terrorizing the streets robbing, raping, and killing.

Are you going to tolerate this criminal behavior or will you resist?

It's unfortunate that this is going to probably happen but I'd like to know what fellow American citizens will do to stop these soon to be desperate crooked criminals.

What will make them so dangerous is because they are not very intelligent, no education, no survival skills, will no longer have income and means or survival, yet they will still be heavily armed with their same tude.

They say that the modern A-Bombs are 10 times more powerful then the ones used in Japan, and if a few Bombs are blown or used in war they can damage the environment, (suppose if any Country deploys a 10 megaton A Bomb On its enemy Country if their borders are near Atomic dust Debris can effect the health of both the countries people)
So a Solution to this would be Develop a 1000 same size A Bombs
used in Japan and if your Enemy Country attacks deploy those Bombs spread out(if the situation is Emergent)
I came up with the Assumption from the fact that in Hirosima and Nagasaki many deformed Children are still born, but the Rest of Japan is Unaffected by the Nuclear fallout.
I do not intend to Kill any one , But what do you think about my Idea
about saving your Country with Nuclear bombs in this manner ?

If not then why not? Why is it we have no option but to tolerate peoples other religions & places of worship in this country and have our noses rubbed into their religions by having no option at school but to learn about them irrespectively without choice or option instead of more worthy subjects and the 3 R's. Come to think about it... do we need religion at school - of any kind?

I'am turning 18 so I can legally live on my own,but I'am curious to know what would I do in this situation?...If i were to seek employement, would I tell the employer I have permanent resident status?..I'am asking because I figured if my siblings and I have are names on the petition keep in mind we are under 21 would we would automatically gain permanent residencey through are mom?

I got pulled over today by a state trooper and I was going 10 over. I thought fast, and came up with the best idea EVER: I took a dump in my pants. I had about a minute but i managed to get a decent loaf out by the time he got the the window. He saw the concerned look on my face and asked why I was speeding. I said I had crapped my pants and was speeding home to change. At first he didn't believe me but boy did he smell my shitty underwear! Anyway he let me go and i was on my way home! So if you get pulled over, I highly recommend shitting your pants. it will stink and be degrading and uncomfortable but think about it. Insurance cost will total in the hundreds, even thousands over the years, going to court, paying the fine, is it worth it? Yes.

The children of undocumented workers are getting higher levels of education. They are the doctors, politicians, and bussinesspeople of tommorrow. They will one day change the idiotic laws against undocumented workers. And do you know what their first step in society will be? LEGALIZING their parents! What do you say to that?
