I've heard several different times that Islam is trying to "take over" from some conservatives...

so taking Iraq... a relatively un-religious country, by middle eastern standards... was a good place to start?

and we're friends with Saudi Arabia... the Islamic homeland?

that's a funny way to fight a war on Islam conservatives?

and why did bush just say the other day that we weren't fighting a war on Islam? is he a liberal?

" i recently got pulled over and after being pulled over, the police searched my car and found marijuana on my friend, by being a good friend,i took the blame for it, so i have a ticket for possession, it know its a misdemeanor but i just wnat to know what will happen when i go to the court. Everyone tells me that they just fine you the maximum amount, which is $100, is there anything else that could happen? Also what happens when i show up to my court date?"

people have told me that i would have to deal with the 100 dollar fine since it was under an ounce but here is the kicker, i just read that if i was a "minor" which is under 21 years that i could get my license suspended, and that would not be good. My question is...

what are the chances that i would have my license suspended? I'm 19 years old since sept 6, it is my first offense, and my citation happened within fremont, please someone tell me some good news.

Today, Hugo Chavez lambasted Bush at the UN, calling him a devil and chastising him for yesterday "talking at us [arrogantly] as if he owned the whole world..."

Last night the President of Iran - the one with the long name beginning with "A" - likewise tore at Bush and described American hypocrisy in general and Bush's in particular.

Notwithstanding that these guys are a couple of egomaniacs, and perhaps dangerous, is it not true that their words, per se, are correct?

Republicans sponsors of the voter identification bill said it was a common sense way to stop voter fraud at the polls. People need photo IDs to board planes, buy alcohol, cigarettes, get perscriptions, or cash checks and the government will give it to them for free through many State and Federal agencies. This is more of an opinion than a question...but, I think it is lowsey that immigrants are coming to the US and getting our benefits, homes, and jobs. They claim to want to be citizens and to have rights and bla bla bla but yet they dont want to pay taxes and so forth. I think its wrong, how we cant get help for anything anymore and that they are trying to do away with the old folks SS but yet they keep allowing all these people to come and live here for nothing. Is there anyone who agrees???

On the 9/18 edition of his nationally syndicated radio show, Michael Medved stated that the "crucial issue" of whether "the violence and the bloodshed and the horror and the misery and the disgusting behavior throughout the Muslim world is based upon some problems within Islam itself" was "the subject of my conversation with the president of the United States on Friday, when I had the privilege of sitting with him in the Oval Office for 90 minutes." Medved was apparently referring to a reported meeting held by President Bush at the White House, which also included conservative radio hosts Neal Boortz, Sean Hannity, Mike Gallagher, and Laura Ingraham. Boortz wrote about the event in a 9/16 posting to his weblog. Medved asserted that "there are problems with Islam, as a faith, as a culture, as a vision of civilization, or actually a vision of barbarism in the world" and that these "problems go very, very deep."

Orange cones flew into the road. The cone crossed 4 lanes. We were going about 55 and quickly came to a stop we hit the cone but also got hit from the car that was behind us. The caltrans work got the cone before the police got a chance to invesagate and the cone part was taken out of the report... There wouldn't have been an accident if the bottom of the cone was attached and wasn't flying into the freeway... What should I do can I sue the caltrans of las vegas?????
