We are already there.................

Forget 1984, Jack London wrote in his book (pre 1984) "The Iron Heel" that quote "the government of the United States will use terrorism as a pre-text to wipe away all civil liberties". This was written in 1914....pretty insightful eh?

no, there are to many people in america who make it their whole goal to think differently than anyone else. If there were only a few people the government couldn't control , they could be easily taken care of. But it would be nearly impossible to get rid of everyone. It is an amazing book though, but it won't happen while there are still God fearing americans.
I agree with birdsnake, if you have read Orwell, and understand his concepts, you will vote republican. Its just how it works

ABSOLUTELY!

We either need the people to come to their senses and wake up, vote all the nazi's out of office, or we will soon be under the thumb of a totalitarian state. Everything you do will be on camera or listened to.

Then it will only be stopped with violent revolution.

Socialism is what Orwell wrote of in 1984.
Also read Animal Farm by Orwell.
Anyone who reads and understands these two books would never vote Democrat.

1984 was current in 1948 when written. 1984 came and went and things go on, as before, as tomorrow.

Are you also globally ignorant? Other forms of government are more dangerous than the US's. Open your eyes and look around the world!
