How is it that a U.S. citizen born and raised here doesn't qualify for state benefits as easily as an illegal or legal immigrant? I'm not against a person coming to better their life or leaving to better their life. I don't hate anyone and I try not to judge but I find it very frustrating that I don't even qualify for medical help because I was born here and I make "too much" according to their rules and standards. It's very sad to me that we don't care about our own hardworking, law abiding, born and raised citizens just a bit more. (Not that immigrants don't work hard or abide by the laws) I love everyone I'm just confused.....

I am a recent law school graduate with plans on taking the bar, but realistically minded enough to realize I may not pass it. If this happens and I don't want to go through the whole process again, what other jobs (beside a contract administrator) are available for JD's who aren't licensed attorneys? Back when I started law school I kept being told there is SOOO much I can do with my degree, but the cupboard seems to be pretty bare lately. Help! (And if you know of one of these jobs in the Austin, TX area, for God's sake, let me know!)

I was in a bad ambulance accedent in 1984 and , I was the passenger (E.M.T. ) my driver had no licence,becuase he had seasures,(I did not know ) my attorny said I had to come to his offace to for my settelment check,when I got there he was rood and told me to get out and there was no check.But every once and awhile I run into people that worked at the ambulance company and they say it had to close becuase of my law suit and the owner told my sister I got a huge settelment? how can I find out if my attorny took my setelment.

I mean small businesses like drycleaners or grocery stores if you know they are mexican owned.....only hard one would be resturants, but hey theres always taco bell to fall back on. :-)

This nation is great because the best of all races have their chance .The question I'm asking is have we not been divided by race and culture in the past and don't we know this is better? I have been on a lot of teams in various situations and I know that in each of those instances I had great team members and bad,but the difference was never race it was talent for what ever the team was trying to do. Every American has had a team member that was weak or strong on that team that was of thier same race. The truth is we want to win so we pick the stronger team member(at least true winners do) the others that pick based on race are those weak team members that think they can hide behind a group that accept's their weakness. Americans will only get stronger (much much stronger) if the weak racist(black,white,latino,asian,arab,etc....) are rooted out and not be allowed to hide behind their god given group! They will tear us apart and ruin what history has shown is the greatest nation ever.

I don't know about Iraq, but I rather doubt any of the insurgents ever signed it. They keep saying that we need to treat detainees according to the rules of eh Geneva Conventions, which is right, as we signed it, but to think that because we are that others will who haven't agreed to it seems presumptuous.

I am almost 17 years old and i want to join the air force, the problem is, i have almost completely flat feet. This doesn't stop me from things like running though, I am on a highschool soccer team. My question is does flat feet make you ineligible for the air force or other branches?

im looking for peoples views on this, i personally think the leaders of both states should face charges and that the way they have treated their brave soldiers is dispicable. Will the power of the average individual prevail and hold such characters as Mr Bush & Blair in contempt of their actions!!!!!

I personally would send both to the gallows.....they dont care about the welfare of their own people but only that of personal gain.
