I would like to see an amendment that would limit the number of terms that Senators and Representatives can hold. Not as restrictive as the one that we have in place for the President, but there should be restrictions ... yes the person may be a good individual, but then again ... after so many years, people do not really know anything else ... when that happens, it is definitely time to ensure that some type of change occurs. We are supposed to be a country for freedom, change, and diversity, yet we allow our leaders maintain their posts for entirely to long, and in the end, you sometimes find out that, their long Faithful, Loyal service actually was coated with lies and falsehoods. We need to insure that we constantly get new ideas, and ideologies into our government, and make it a government for the people by the people. I think the longest that a person should be able to serve in the Senate or House of Representatives should be limited to no more than 20 years. Thank you for such a thought provoking question :) Have a good day :)

I would rather see some repealed. Like the part of the 14th that says anyone born on American soil is automatically a citizen, the 16th which created the income tax and the 17th that changed the way senators were selected effectively removing state representation in the federal government.

I would like a term limits amendment; two terms for Senators and six terms for Congressmen. I don't believe that the Founding Fathers intended to have career Members of Congress .

I would like to see an amendment added stating that the president cannot go to war without a vote from all the people, because that is who these wars will ultimately affect the most.
