im looking for peoples views on this, i personally think the leaders of both states should face charges and that the way they have treated their brave soldiers is dispicable. Will the power of the average individual prevail and hold such characters as Mr Bush & Blair in contempt of their actions!!!!!

I personally would send both to the gallows.....they dont care about the welfare of their own people but only that of personal gain.

they took both countries to war on lies!!! nothing more and it is evident in the minutes discussed between blair on bush via the home office in the Uk. Mr blair sends his troops away to get fkn shot and killed and cant even bother going to meet the familys but he will go and meet the familys of the kidknapped soldiers in israel......it is both america's and the uk foreign policys that are creating terrorists.

im sure that america backing israel and a complete disregard for international policy whenever it includes them has something to do with people in the middle-east being annoyed. Dnt get me wrong im 100% against terrorism, but who trained osama in the first place.

What has happened to our moral sensibility? ... Look at Guantanamo Bay. Hundreds of people detained without charge for over three years, with no legal representation or due process, technically detained forever. This totally illegitimate structure is maintained in defiance of the Geneva Convention. It is not only tolerated but hardly thought about by what’s called the”’international community.”

This criminal outrage is being committed by a country, which declares itself to be “the leader of the free world.” Do we think about the inhabitants of Guanta namo Bay? What does the media say about them? They pop up occasionally—a small item on page six. They have been consigned to a no man’s land from which indeed they may never return.

At present many are on hunger strike, being force-fed, including British residents. No niceties in these force-feeding procedures. No sedative or anaesthetic. Just a tube stuck up your nose and into your throat. You vomit blood. This is torture. What has the British Foreign Secre tary said about this? Nothing. What has the British Prime Minister said about this? Nothing. Why not? Because the United States has said: to criticise our conduct in Guantanamo Bay constitutes an unfriendly act. You’re either with us or against us.
So Blair shuts up.

The invasion of Iraq was a bandit act, an act of blatant state terrorism, demonstrating absolute contempt for the concept of international law. The invasion was an arbitrary military action inspired by a series of lies upon lies and gross manipulation of the media and therefore of the public; an act intended to consolidate American military and economic control of the Middle East masquerading—as a last resort—all other justifications having failed to justify themselves—as liberation. A formidable assertion of military force responsible for the death and mutilation of thousands and thousands of innocent people.

We have brought torture, cluster bombs, depleted uranium, innumerable acts of random murder, misery, degradation and death to the Iraqi people and call it “bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East.”

How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal? One hundred thousand? More than enough, I would have thought. Therefore it is just that Bush and Blair be arraigned before the International Criminal Court of Justice. But Bush has been clever. He has not ratified the International Criminal Court of Justice. Therefore, if any American soldier or for that matter politician finds himself in the dock, Bush has warned that he will send in the Marines. But Tony Blair has ratified the Court and is therefore available for prosecution. We can let the Court have his address if they’re interested. It is Number 10, Downing Street, London.

Death in this context is irrelevant. Both Bush and Blair place death well away on the back burner. At least 100,000 Iraqis were killed by American bombs and missiles before the Iraq insurgency began. These people are of no moment. Their deaths don’t exist. They are blank. They are not even recorded as being dead. “We don’t do body counts,” said the American general Tommy Franks.

Early in the invasion there was a photograph published on the front page of British newspapers of Tony Blair kissing the cheek of a little Iraqi boy. “A grateful child,” said the caption. A few days later there was a story and photograph, on an inside page, of another four-year-old boy with no arms. His family had been blown up by a missile. He was the only survivor. “When do I get my arms back?” he asked. The story was dropped. Well, Tony Blair wasn’t holding him in his arms, nor the body of any other mutilated child, nor the body of any bloody corpse. Blood is dirty. It dirties your shirt and tie when you’re making a sincere speech on television.

The 2,000 American dead are an embarrassment. They are transported to their graves in the dark. Funerals are unobtrusive, out of harm’s way. The mutilated rot in their beds, some for the rest of their lives. So the dead and the mutilated both rot, in different kinds of graves. ...

Many thousands, if not millions, of people in the United States itself are demonstrably sickened, shamed and angered by their government’s actions, but as things stand they are not a coherent political force —yet. But the anxiety, uncertainty and fear which we can see growing daily in the United States is unlikely to diminish.

Hello, I am a retired Police Officer here in the US and I can confirm to you that these types of records, for the most part, are not available to the general public. You won't be able to obtain them for free. That's the reality of it. Even if you came into the station for a particular police report to which you have a right to possess, you are often required to pay a small fee at the clerk's counter for the paperwork. There are however, to my knowledge, just a couple LEGITIMATE services that have full access to these types of records, and OFFICIAL approval/certification to provide them. The one which comes to mind is http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com - and if I recall correctly, They do provide these records at a relatively small cost.. especially considering the highly personal, confidential, or otherwise sensitive nature of the information within. Here you will find things such as:

Reverse Phone Search
Criminal Records
Inmate Records
Sex Offenders
DUI/DWI Records
Court Records
Arrest Records
Warrant Records
Police Records
Address History
Death Index
Marital Status
Relatives and Associates
Property Records
Felonies and Convictions
Alias and Date of Birth
Business Search

http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com

The only other way to obtain this type of information is to be working in certain areas of the public sector, such as Police work. Please do not use this any information you may discover for malicious purpose, as many States do provide criminal penalties under statutory law for certain acts regarding invasion of privacy. Hope this helps.

Yes, I think the policy of pre-emptive war is criminal. It seems to me that T.Blair is more interested in his own status as a world leader than he is in the welfare of his own people. It has taken a celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver, to show that the most important thing is to feed our children well, not landgrabbing oil wells. How TB has the gaul to propose a 'respect agenda' when he does not have sufficient respect for his own electorate that he is prepared to lie his way into an illegal war amazes me. Personally I can't see the difference between "shock and awe" and "terror" and I feel sure Iraqi children would struggle to tell the difference too.

I agree.
B-lair has been condemned again 2day by his slow 2 call 4 a cease fire in Lebanon.
He twiddled his thumbs, had T with Bush & off 2 the Middle East 2 cuddle up 2 Israel.

B-Lair's going soon & it's becoming blindingly obvious he's going 2 leave us up 2 our necks as a parting gift.

I am tired of George Bush questions. You should respect the uniform even if you don't like whose wearing it. Unlike in Britain, Americans voted for this President. So, I have a different solution. You should be charged with TREASON and suffer what ever penalty is appropriate.

Agree 100%. They are both self aggrandising warmongers who should be prosecuted under the full penalty of the law!!! If anything, they have endangered the world instead of making it safer, which ultimately is the remit of the "job" they conned the voting public into giving them.

i thought this was interesting. maybe after you read it you won't think that our leaders are sending our brave soldiers for no reason. also there was a documentary on the history channel where osama bin laden was quoted as saying something like "you(americans, etc.)want to live we(terrorist)want to die"
anyway i'm not saying all believers of islam are terrorist, but all terrorist claim to muslim. i do realize with any belief there are always extremist.

now i have a question for you, or anyone who always opposes. instead of critizing, bad mouthing, judging and shutting down others(Bush/Blair) what is your solution? what is your idea, how do we fix this, what steps do we take?

The Basics of Islam
This is a must read -- it's short but Very informative!
The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in
the United
